The Pokemon Story - Page 2351 - Mining for a water stone - By Jayezox - Overview
Mining for the water stone seems the most practical way to get one. As you approach the cavern, the sound of crunching stone gets louder and louder. It seems the pokemon inside are occupied with chiseling at the cave in many ways, some with their bare fists, others with their horns, others with a projectile such as water. This makes it easy for you to scout the area. Most of the pokemon there are bigger than you. Everyone has a cart that is about the same size for whatever treasure they have, some more than others. It seems the stronger the pokemon, the better the spot and the more treasure it has.

Almost the entire cave is occupied and it seems like if you dig anywhere you might be intruding on someone else.

There is a Lucario that has a nearly full cart. He seems cool headed at a glance.

There is also a Machoke that seems a bit ill tempered, but very occupied with his work. His cart is about halfway full.

A Blastoise is using his water cannons to blast away rocks at a high rate. His cart is completely full. It's a wonder he's still going.

You spot an Absol using his horn to smash away at the earth. His cart is only about a quarter full.

There is also a Deerling secluded in an odd spot smashing away with his hooves. He has no luck so far though and has nothing in his cart.

Finally, there is a spot unoccupied by miners, but some local Aaron are chewing away at some metal ore.

You don't know what treasure the pokemon have since you were in a hurry scouting the area. You also don't know their gender since you haven't spoken to them yet or looked at their genitals. You approach one, but don't get its attention yet, but which one?
