A Day at the Zoo - Page 15 - It's off limits for a Reason - By Cheesecake90 - Overview
As if these flimsy, poorly fixed black and yellow tapes could hold you back! You march forward and effortlessly step ofer the hip-high barrier, eagerly approaching the middle of the bridge where you saw long but low waves in the stirred up water. These crocodiles here could reach up to 25ft and more, you remember the sign reading. That was truly a sight you couldn't get anywhere else and reason enough to ignore the barrier tapes warning.

Each of your steps made a clogging sound on the dark wooden planks. Each but one: all of a sudden, you felt the part of the bridge where you rushingly planted your foot, give way. With a the sound of cracking wood, you fell, and broke through more planks, cold, muddy water cushioning your fall with an audible splash. In shock, you pushed your head out of the water and inhaled heavily. Luckily, you could stay afloat without any problems, wearing only light clothes.

What wasn't so lucky was that you in fact did see something move in the water, and it came closer and closer, as you were soon able to make out large, dark eyes and rows of white teeth. You could only hope, the crocodiles were already fed this morning . . .
