You put the ticket you printed out just this morning into the large turnstile, adorned with red baloons and colourful, shimmering ribbons.
With a beeping noise, the light signal turns from red to green and you hear the sound of a something unlocking. The metal rod gives way to your push and you eagerly enter the zoo grounds, leaving the high, dark metal fences behind you and looking upon a cobblestone path, that split itself dozendfold, winding and leading into all directions before you.
A fancy looking hut with a large, toothy, open maw, looking like that of a shark - the zoo logo - and the lettering "Deepmaw Zoo" hanging over the large window at its front lies just to your left. A large blue "i" sign right next to it signalling that this was the visitor information shack.
To your right, a small food stand presents snacks for visitors. Next to it, a plethera of vending machines offer animal food for visitors to throw into the pens, and a warning to not use it on pens that feature a "Do not feed" sign.
Before you, the light grey paved way splits like a tree branch, and at the point these many smaller paths lead away from it, stands a large sign showing a map of the zoo.
