You wake up in a cheap hotel room at the crack of dawn, or at least what you think is dawn. The room smelled a little musty and gross but there's no noticeable stains where you had been laying which was a relief. Looking around you notice that you are stark naked and can't remember how you ended up here. Suddenly the TV in the room kicks on and an older ripped man strides into view. He gives you a rundown of the Royale and what you had to do to survive. Watching it happen didn't seem real but it was. It was very real. After his stern words the man cut the feed and the TV turned off.
Getting to your feet your first instinct was to run but you thought better of it. Instead you crept over to the curtains and peaked outside. Somewhere in this 'arena' were 61 other men trying to be the last man standing. You had to be careful. Scanning what you could see, you spotted a large in ground public pool literally next door to the motel. It was across the parking lot with no cover in between and there was clearly another competitor standing on the diving board.
Across the street from the pool was a decent sized library.
Besides that there was a large school in the distance past the pool but it would be a fairly long trip and someone would surely spot you. The only other thing you could see was the motel office a few doors down. It wasn't much but everyone had to start somewhere.
