A while later, the group was back at the inn. The bounty on the bandits was collected - and the reward from the husband was politely turned down.
The newer arrivals had been offered rooms by the others, Susan offering to share hers with Cody.
"Thanks for sharing your room with me," the skunk said, as they entered the room.
"No problem," Susan said, as she tried to figure out how to get out of her armor.
"Do you want me to help you?" Cody asked.
"This stuff stinks," Susan said.
Cody chuckled. "I don't blame you there." He started to help her out.
She sniffed her outfit, and was disgusted. "These too!" She quickly got out of it.
By this time, Cody had gotten out of his plate armor, and was looking at her. "I'll tell the others to pick up some spare clothes." He left the room.
