The place was fully furnished. There were clothes that were similar to what you'd once liked to wear, furniture in a style you liked, and even a few days worth of food for someone of your size and new diet, in case you didn't want to go out and hunt just yet.

There was also a handbook for you to read. You picked it up, and saw a section that intrigued you - Co-habiting with Smaller Housemates.

You flipped over to the section, and looked through it. It was something you'd heard of, but had never tried, yet. In short, larger being were allowed to share their living quarters with those much smaller than themselves. For instance, a lynx, such as yourself, could easily allow ten or more families of mice and other similar sized beings. They could stay long-term as Renters, or they could stay on a short term as Live Pantry items.

You looked at Esmou, who was looking it over as well.
