Monster Hunted - Page 3 - Female - By Shadowpuma27 - Overview
She is a girl. A girl by the name of Adelle, who arrives in the desert city of Loc Lac. She comes alone, on a supply sandship. The gates loom ahead, the giant stone structures towering in the sunny sky over plains filled with sand. The boat docks by the pier and he disembarks. The light shines off her armor, a full set of Gobul armor; she forged this before the fateful Festival of Fear, when she used to make a habit of hunting Gobuls. She carries a large switch-axe called Blitzkrieg.

So she continues on her way, walking the bare stone streets of Loc Lac-- once a crowded place for hunters to come, now a ghost town. She keeps looking around for any others like herself, but sees none and eventually makes her way to the tavern where hunters would come to meet other hunters and take on quests together. Inside there were bare tables scattered about, the stairs leading up to the departure zone where sandships awaited to take ready hunters to quest locations, and straight ahead lay a long table occupied by a little man with a large white mustache.

The hunter approaches him while he has his face buried in a book.

"Hello," Adelle pipes up, her voice cheerful.

"GAAH!" The old man yelps and falls off his seat. The hunter curiously glances over the desk to see if he is alright; he stands back up and sits back on his chair. "Sorry about that, didn't hear you come in. What can I do for you?" He asks.

"I would like to sign up for the monster hunting guild," she replies.

"What? A member? We never get any new ones anymore," the old man mutters, confused.

"Well, I wish to save Loc Lac from the evil that has fallen over it," she responds, her gaze determined.

"All right then." Beginning to write in his book, the elderly man continues. "Your name?"

"Adelle."

"All right, you are now a one star hunter. I am the guild master; you come to me when you feel your ready to take on the next star level, but you are not ready until you undergo all the quests on your star level. Then talk to me about any urgent quests we may have. Get your quests over there." He points to a large board with posted notes all over it. "Take a quest and give the note to the sandship captain... and he'll sail you to where you need to go."

Satisfied, Adelle leaves the man and goes over to the board. There appear to be 4 quests in her star level.

Hunt the Great Jaggi: A large monster fight, the Great Jaggi is a large raptor-like creature who commands his minions (Jaggi and Jaggia) to fight alongside him.

Tracking the Trickster: A hunt where you must capture a Qurupeco, a scaly, birdlike monster with a large vocal range which it can use to lure other powerful monsters into the fight.

No Love for Ludroth: The hunter must slay 10 Ludroth, smallish, aggressive female Leviathans that dwell in the water.

Red Coral Stones: A harvest quest where the hunter must gather 10 Red Coral Stones on the coastline of Moga Island. Who knows what could happen here?

(PS: You may take the urgent quest early, but that means less vore for you. If you have already played through these quests, this page acts as a save game function so you can take on the urgent quest early or even skip to the next star level. This works if you want to fight one monster in particular, but you might miss parts of the story.)
