"Well, we want her to be a canine, like her mum. Smarter though, so probably a fox girl." Chad answered.

Trixie hit her husband. "What are you trying to say? Am I stupid?" She questioned.

Only two seconds passed before they both laughed.

"No, darling. Far from it. It's actually just to make our daughter's life easier. If she's a vixan, all she needs is a rabbit or mouse to be satisfied. Much easier prey than deer and sheep, or indeed horses" Chad clarified.

Trixie grinned. "Easier to handle, maybe, but rabbit is nowhere near as tasty as horsemeat," she pointed out.

To remind his clients of his presence, the technician cleared his throat. "Smaller preds make for a more comfortable birth too. A vixan is the sensible choice," he added.

"Then my daughter shall be a fox," Trixie declared.

The technician nodded. "Well, it can be done. We'll take aspects of you, Trixie, and blend them with those of a fox with a similar personality to Chad. Unless you'd like something a bit different?" He said.
