Night at pig manor! - Page 2 - Drive up to the old manor - By hackerkyle - Overview
You all flood into Mark's van. Mark, Terry, and you sit in the back. As John is in the drivers seat and Dan sits in the passenger seat.

"You guys realize this is incredible stupid?" Terry sighed.

"If you didn't want to go why did you come?" Dan said as he pulled out a beer from a cooler wedged between the passenger and driver seat.

"If I don't come you guys will get yourselves killed!" Terry yelled as he too went for a beer.

"Quit being a mother hen! We're old enough to take care of ourselves." Mark said as he pulled out a small flask from his back pocket.

"Yeah, sure you guys can." Terry said as he rolled his eyes.

The back and forth continued the whole ride up to the manor. But slowly Dan and Mark whittled down Terry to the point he'd agreed to come let everyone inside. But only for ten minutes he added on. Dan and Mark agreed but you knew better then for Dan and Mark to keep their word.

The drive up was rather uneventful. Mark, Dan, and Terry kept drinking the whole time; more as a way to pass the time of the long drive. You pull out your phone to check the time and see it's 11:45 PM. You also noticed you got no signal out here. You put your phone away and went back to what was more important to you right now then this whole trip.

You ran through all the ideas you have to ask Mark out. You could just be blunt and ask, but that's so lame he might laugh at you. You could always ask him out to your parents cabin out by the lake in the mountains...but then the other guys would want to tag along. Not too romantic with Dan around. You keep up this train of thought till you were snapped out of it by John's quiet whisper of a voice.

"W-We're here." John said almost sounding a bit frightened.

You look out the window and saw it. The old manor. The whole place was surrounded by a ten foot high stone wall, with a old rickety iron gate for the entrance. The front of the manor has two large old weeping willows and other various plants growing wildly everywhere. Beyond them is the manor itself. The building is made out of old bricks. A set of stairs lead up to the front door. The building stands three stories high, that's not including if it has a basement or attic. You can't see too well, but it looks as if the backyard has a hedge maze.

You slowly exit the van behind Mark and Terry as Dan is already at the large iron gate trying to break the lock off with a rock.

"I'd rather not get charged with vandalism by breaking that lock." Terry said frustrated.

"Then I'm open to suggestions on how we get past this gate." Dan said as he chucked the rock over the gate and at the old manor not hitting anything.

"...We can, climb the wall" John said silently.

"Like Dan's fat ass could make it over it." Mark joked as he poked Dan's stomach.

"We can, use the van. Park it close enough, then use it to get over the top." John whispered again.

It is true Mark's van could make the climb easier as it has a ladder on the back and it's about seven feet tall, maybe less. But before anyone can rebuttal the idea Dan grabs the keys from John and quickly parks the Van next to the wall. He jumps out and quickly climbs the ladder and gets on the roof. Mark followed as you followed him. Terry is right behind you with John in last.

Once on the roof of the van you all climb up the remanding three foot high wall and leap off it into the yard. Luckily, non of you are hurt by the fall.

Dan rushes up to the house as Mark runs after him. With you now being in the yard, you have an uneasy feeling about this and wonder if you should follow Mark in, or stay behind for a bit.

"Idiots." Terry Says as he sits back against the wall.

"N-Not going in?" John Asked, it being clear his is scared a little too.

"Nope. I give them five minutes before they come out in piss soaked pants." Terry said putting it bluntly.
