You forgot that this morning was your appointment with the reformer company. They come by every few months to check up on the equipment to make sure it is fully functional. While there may be no problems with your reformer, missing the check up results in them shutting it off in case it is malfunctioning in some capacity. While you remain asleep there is a Knock... Knock... knock... on your front door.
