"Well, this is a pretty strange team... do'ya think the tournament organizers are a bunch of perverts or something?" Chris thought aloud, scratching his short brown hair.
"I think they're just trying to have us fill a missing niche. Big sis Athena told me all about those kinds of things when it comes to marketing her as an idol." Bao responded, thankful to have learned something from all that boring marketing talk he had to sit through.
"Zzzzzz" Meitenkun was fast asleep on the bed, his arms cradled around his favorite pillow.
"Jeez, is this guy going to be useful in a fight? He's just going to get gobbled up before he even realizes what's going on." Chris hovered above the sleeping boy, poking him to no reaction.
"I bet it's some sort of trick. Like, the lady he's fighting will underestimate him, and them BAM! Right into his belly." The boy in the oversized hat worked out, based off of some tricks he'd learned from his older brother Kensou.
A knock at the door garnered the attention of the two boys absent from dreamland, to which the found a nice looking maid lady. She bowed, before informing them of their match.
"You will be facing off against the Woman fighters team, please follow me." She curtly turned, and went towards their apparent destination.
"Do we have to carry this guy? What a pain." Chris began to groan, before the sleeping lad surprisingly rose to his feet. He slowly made his way out the door to follow the maid lady. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, still in a half asleep state.
Chris and Bao looked at each other, before shrugging. If he was acting, he was doing a darn good job at it, that's for sure. The other two boys caught up with their partner, ready to prove themselves in this bizarre tournament.
