Your pride as a gamer wouldn't let you back down from a challenge. Getting something fixed be damned, you were going to win this. Honestly, you hadn't even given a thought to what you would do if you win. What was more important was winning yourself.

You give her a thumbs up and wait patiently as she connected the Super Nintendo to an equally old looking TV that, for some reason, you hadn't noticed before. The next this you knew you were holding a unfamilliar controller sitting next to D.Va staring down a 16bit version of the most famous video game character of all time.

You give her a nod, and she presses the button to start the race. You were playing Luigi while your opponent was playing DK.
