Temari and Ino stared down their opponent. Marunomi stood strong, cool, and confident. Her eyes gazed at them intently. Her tongue momentarily escaped her lips to wet them. Her hands were clutching her bulging belly, a firm reminder of their friend Tenten’s fate. Her entire demeanor stated perfectly, “You’re next.”
With them down one team member, Temari and Ino would have to think of something quick if they were to have any hope of beating her.
