The Cosmos Inside - Page 33 - Sleep is basically time travel, so I'm already at the station. - By WarlockSnorlax - Overview
You awake during the slow deceleration of the shuttle, forcing your heavy eyelids upwards as the ship gradually comes to a halt and drops out of warp. There's the silhouette of a memory on the edge of your mind, and you grumble as you realize you were in the middle of a good dream.
You shake yourself awake as the shuttle carefully docks with the station, and the rest of the passengers unbuckle from their seats and stand up - some of them with suspiciously full bellies, you notice. There's a small hiss of air as the doors open, the musty-crusty recycled air of the shuttle mixing with the slightly less crusty-musty recycled air of the station. The rest of the passengers file out of the shuttle, and you take your time unbuckling from your chair as the speakers aboard politely repeat the command to please, exit the shuttle now. You step out of the shuttle, the remnants of sleep mostly evacuated from your mind. Having been the last person out, the shuttle detatches from the station's docking system and moseys on over to the stations hangar.
Now... where to?
