Sunlight peeks through your bedroom windows, awakening you to the light of the early morning. You groan, stretching your limbs as sleep is pushed away and the world reasserts itself.

As you sit up, bedsheets slipping from your naturally athletic frame, you gaze out the window, taking in the sights of the world around you. A sprawling city greets your eyes, stretching out to the edges of the great forest where your hunters gather food for those with more mundane tastes. On the other side, the great lakes of Aquia make for both a beautiful sight as well as a pleasant vacation area when one needs to get away from the stifling politics at court.
The examination doesn't last much longer, pushing yourself up from your bed, you stretch once more, unclad and ready for the morning. This is a special week. With your formal induction into the royal ceremony coming up, you will soon be recognized as the next heir to the nation's throne. At least, so long as someone doesn't take it from you first. One can never be too careful with these things, and while your siblings are friendly enough, being the one to inherit the throne is always a great motivator for backstabbers and thieves.
