Anthromorphic

Anthromorphic (which is a missterm of the correct word, Anthropomorphic) is an adjective used to decscribe a creature or object that has been given the characteristics of a human being. 

In common use, the term refers to an animal of some sort that has been given the posture and build and other features normally attributed to human beings. This includes walking upright, having functional hands (with opposable thumbs), being able to talk, as well as fuction within the context of human society.  Within the furry context, anthromorphic creatures run the range from canines and felines,  to scaled creatures, such as snakes (Also known as a Naga or Lamia) and Lizards, and even including mythical creatures such as Dragons.
