To get other people off. And to develop a fan base and take over the world. But mainly the first part

I started out making a mod for a vore game, because the creator encouraged it.

I started writing vore stories as an alternative to comics because my drawing skills are subpar.

I mainly like to write parodies of anime I really like or try to fill a hole in the content that I think needs filling. Like, seriously, how was there no hard cooking content for Xiang Ling? Well, there is now!

I've told the story before, it's kinda silly in hindsight. Was browsing the portal some ten years ago, couldn't find a story that suited my standards, so was like "guess I'll write my own."

Been stuck doing this ever since, and I'll admit it's pretty rewarding to see people enjoy my work.

Honestly I read some really amazing (to me) stories at a time when this content was hard to come by, and then more or less wrote the same thing I'd read. I mean shameful, tu-4 levels of carbon copy. I got decent responses for it, enjoyed writing (I liked reading and writing short stories in general) and just kept going. At first it was checking off personal fantasies, then I started playing with reluctant pred characters and dragons, then furries opened up the 'dialogue' even more and I also started writing for other people. Now it's sort of a mix of the challenge of finding new stories to tell about vore and trying out different fetishes and 'interpretations' of vore.

The actual writing and posting isn't really rewarding, and I've stopped writing commissions as much since I was getting stressed out and not working on my own stuff, but I write things almost compulsively and wouldn't stop even if no one read. I just get ideas and have to get them down, even if in outline or rough form. I like writing for other people in and of itself too so my readers that comment or people I write for influence my writing as well, and it's another reason I write stories.

The fact that I am an artist. I can't not create. And I prefer to create what I enjoy.

I write because of some advice I got a while back.

Write what you want to read.

Simple enough. Boils down to something just as simple. You aren't going to find exactly what you want at any bookstore unless you have relatively basic tastes. If you stick to a certain author, you'll always enjoy their work, but you won't get the same thrill out of it that you would if it had something that you also enjoyed. Best example other than writing is video games. Specifically, Open World video games. No two paths will be the same. No two playstyles will be the same. Because of the open world nature of the game itself, everyone will play it differently. It's the same with stories. No two people will read something and see it in the minds the same exact way. Example there: Eragon. When I read the books for the first time, I didn't see Sapphira the way she appeared in the movie. I used to have a drawing of what I thought she looked like but it's long lost. I also didn't picture the titular character, Eragon, as looking like an 18 year old blonde jock like kid that just walked off of his school football field. I pictured him as being lithe, like many a skilled bow hunter would be. Small, able to climb up trees relatively quickly without his bulk snapping the branches.
Just a wolf lookin' for some fun. I like all sorts. Just... don't eat me.

Cuz horny + creative artsy person + sense of dissatisfaction with alot of porn/media/etc. = This

Often times I find it hard to navigate ekas portal and find something I really enjoy (I guess I'm just a vore snob... Oh no...) And also blacklist alot of stuff I don't like which limits the amount of content I look at.

Also I like the feeling I get when someone reads my smut and lieks it.

Also, I almost always want to roleplay. But alot of times I get no mail. So, I just have to write stories which is basically roleplaying but by myself.

But most of all, nobody knows what gives me a boner more than ME. So, I write stuff (primarily for me), and it gives me the biggest hard on ever.

Just to do it. It's fun to do it. I seem to have an audience, so I keep doing it. I create other content as well, so it's just... what I do. I think, as a creative person, it's something that you sometimes *have to* do.

And, like, years ago I was really happy to find out that this community existed and I always felt a little guilty that I was a lurker for a long long time and I wanted to at least try to give something back to the community.

It's also, writing is a little like single player role-play, which is fun. I haven't really... worked up to actually trying very hard to role play with an actual other person.

Overall it's a creative\constructive outlet for this side of my personality.

If you want to build a subculture sensitive to your artistic ideosyncracies, you don't go where sensitive, cultured, refined people are, because those places are full; you go somewhere trashy and low brow that nevertheless caters to a unique facet of the human experience (and your experience in particular), and find the other people there who also feel alienated by its raw state but who see the potential in it.

I was drawing vore and writing about it long before I ever realised other people were into it, but once I did realise I think I immediately started wanting what I just in the past couple of years finally got together, which is a little community of artists who like my work and who make work that I like, and who share my weird perspective.

Most of the time I write something it's because I'm writing to fill a niche that I am personally interested in and there isn't much existing content for.

For me, it happened because one night I had a thought about what if such-and-such happened. So I wanted to get the idea out of my head. Best way to do that was to give what I was thinking about context. Then when it was finished I uploaded it somewhere. After which somebody said it read like a creepypasta. Which is pretty funny since I'd heard of them before but didn't really know what it meant. Can confirm I accidentally wrote a creepypasta because of an idea I wanted to get out of my head. That is the truth.

I'm enjoying art other people have made, so I'm drawing things that other people may get enjoyment out of. For a long time I was just an observer, but eventually I felt like I wanted to join in on the art creation. It's also fun to create art of characters that don't have as much representation. That way other people may get inspired and in turn make more art of said character.

I write because I've got some nasty writer's block, and I've lurked on this site for a while. When an idea came to mind I thought it was a good way to break that block and give back for once. It was mildly successful, so I'm trying to keep up and maintain my momentum.

Like so many others, I draw because I can do things just how I like it, while giving back to the community.

It makes me able to get the things that I really like, while also provide others with my visions and perspectives.

As time goes by I am also able to do work for others whom might not be able to draw themselves. While challenging me and my abilities, in a way where I can become better. :)

I enjoy a very specific subgenre that most even within the vore community despise, though for the life of me I can't understand why. There was very little in the way of contributions, I had plenty of ideas, so I started writing, not only to fill a need many that viewed wanted, but to see if I could actually do it.

My very first writing attempts on the old Yahoo message boards got quite a few likes even though reading them now they were horrendous, so badly written I could scarcely believe I had actually written them. A lot of people like them but I think most were just happy there was some content for them to actually read.

I took it as a challenge to write better stories and I believe my stories have gotten a lot better over time, but they have also grown in complexity and length. Where I used to be just over a thousand words, now my average is well over 5000 with my latest as yet un-posted story sitting at over ten thousand. Writing the vore stories I do has improved my skill and enjoyment for writing, I'm even writing non vore related stuff using many of the skills I learned from writing for here.

While most may not like the kind of content I write I am grateful to have been given the means to do so and that I have been able to learned and improve by doing so. It is also just fiction, just fantasy not real so why should the genre matter at all.

For what little I have drawn or written, because I have crushes and that's it. The specific reason if them never being drawn actually was an afterthought but I guess a welcome one for those wanting rare old male and rare character preds in general.
