Forum rules

Fast Travel in a Vore Game

So I've had various ideas around how fast travel would work in a Vore game, you find have a companion that tags along with you, or someone at a travel point you speak to, and they offer to take you to your destination faster than it takes to actually walk there through the dangerous game map or overworld, the only problem is that they have to eat you to do so.

Whether this is a taur-like species that is good at all ground terrain, a bird species that can transport you across impossible to walk terrain, or a mermaid/other sea creature that can take you to secret underwater locations or island/continent hopping. The only unforeseen problems, even if they have every intention of letting you go on the other side, is the distance involved and the time it takes to get to the destination. So depending on which transport method you take they each have different digestion strengths/speeds, and if there any possible delays like bad weather or detours required then you run the risk of staying inside their stomach too long and you're mush before you've reached your destination(scat)

Damage based on distance and and type of travel is a great idea. The quicker and more straightforward routes could do more damage, while slower routes do less.

Want to get to that city that's across the mountains? Sure you could get a bird to take you there and fly over right over the mountains in a matter of minutes, but flight sure can get the stomach going. You could just take a land creature to take you through a long and winding mountain path, sure it does less damage, but it will take much longer and you'll never know if there's going to be a roadblock (like a landslide) which will make the route longer, thus increasing the chances of you not making it to the other side.

If the game has a leveling system, fast travel could also help in blocking off higher level areas. Have an area that you don't want a player to access until later on? Just make it impossible to get there unless through a travelling system that does a decent amount of damage, therefore requiring the player to level up to endure the damage.

Also all that exertion from the act of walking/flying/swimming with a full stomach will in turn use up vital energy that the transport predator would need to replenish in the form of food, and if you're still in the stomach then you're exactly what it needs to satisfy the needs of the body regardless of any protestations from the passenger.

There are also alternate places a prey could be stored other than the stomach for example, take a kangeroo's pouch as a more innocently practical method, or in the steamy (and dirty) colon of a large taur instead, those sweaty thicc butt cheeks squeezing all over you every time the pred walks.

What about mages setting up a vore themed teleportation network? You go to the mage of your local village, tell them you wanna go to the big city, the local mage eats you and you come out of the ass of a different mage in the big city.

Now that is a great idea. If there is a magic themed reformation rather than a stomach to stomach portal system where the prey is eaten whole and transported whole from one stomach to another for a full tour or regurgitation process, they could instead be digested down to the base matter and then magick'd back to live after coming out of the ass of the recipient mage after transferring the digested matter across the distances and then subsequently brought back to life with a reformation spell.

In Hogwarts Legacy there are frog statues that swallow your character and then spit them back out of the mouth of a different frog statue in another part of the building. Such a fun way to travel.

In one of those shrink RPG games on the site there's actually a mermaid who will swallow you to transport you between points. Klin's also got a "transporter" centaur...
