I do not want to give people false hope, but I worked a little bit with him on this project and still have access to his in-development files... We had made a little bit of progress since the last update, before COVID and general life things got in the way and the development petered out...
Anyway long story short, I'm looking into the possibility of putting the semi-completed patch in somewhat of releasable state and then putting it out there. This is going to take some time, and I do not know if it is even worth the effort. It has been a while since I looked at the code and it may just be a tiny change from the last release... Anyway at this time I am not planning on taking responsibility of the project, but I was thinking it would be a nice gesture to have a sort of memorial in the game too. Or maybe someone else can make use of the files and take over. Just some musings...
