This may be a bit unlikely, but is there any chance in the future for a fart option for gas disposal? Considering that scat is already in and such.

I could try and do something pretty simple, just repurposing parts from burping. Might not be all that impressive but it'll at least be something.

I second this too, as a person myself who's highly into farting.

Even if it's not impressive, it's enough to keep me satisfied. ♥

Well, it's that time some of you have probably been dreading.
https://www.patreon.com/Endeavore
If you'd like to support me and gain access to work in progress updates to the game, I'd really appreciate it.
Sorry in advance to those this might disappoint but at this point I've sunk 100s, possibly 1000+ hours into this project.
I know there isn't much there at the moment so don't feel bad if you can't or don't want to join, there'll be free releases when updates are done.
What I can promise is regular updates, I expect the WIP updates to come out in a similar cadence to before the relaunch (approx. 2 weeks between updates with some leeway) although the updates will be more content quantity focused than new systems and things like the old updates.
I'm happy to take feedback on the Patreon, I'm new to the platform and have no idea what I'm doing. If you have ideas of Patreon perks you can suggest those as well, but I won't be doing a Patreon-only discord or anything like that as I personally feel like that only stifles discussion. But I'll probably add a channel for Patreon discussions if needed, it won't be a private channel, so you can see what's going on, but you'll also be able to mute it if you don't want to see it.
If you have feedback (even negative) and feel uncomfortable posting it publicly you can DM me on Discord or Eka's to keep it private.

Re: (Update: 21/01/25) Endeavore: Dawn Seeker
I've opened a gallery on Eka's where I'll gradually upload art/sprites from the game if you'd like to add them to your own collections.
https://aryion.com/g4/gallery/EndeavourGame
There's also a new WIP update out on the Patreon which includes another 5 levels for a total of 15 levels.
The new levels also introduce a new nature-themed enemy
The 15 new levels just need discoveries and a few boss fights and it'll be ready for the public free release!
While I'm not willing to put a deadline/release date on it, it shouldn't be too much longer.

I'm not someone who usually joins Patreons, but if you want ideas for perks, one easy yet effective option could be a poll where supporters vote on what you focus on next. If you have three ideas in mind, Patreon supporters could decide the next one you add.
Here are two other perks that could be used, but they would require some work to be implemented.
Supporters get their names featured in-game. This could be as simple as a credit screen, or you could try something like a respawning training dummy with a name tag. The name would be one of your supporters randomly picked each respawn and for a bonus, each one could have some text when you eat and digest them chosen by that supporter.
Supporters get to add a small scene to the game. If added, I suggest making this limited to an amount you can manage and priced decently high.
You should also take into consideration how difficult some perks would be to implement. If they take a lot of time and resources then make it worth your while or rethink the perk.
This is probably one of the projects I would think about joining a Patreon for, but for now, I'll look forward to when the next free update is out.

Re: (Update: 21/01/25) Endeavore: Dawn Seeker
Patreon Update
The boss update is live on the patreon. 1 boss for each biome.
The old royal slime has been revamped and makes its return as the boss of the forest biome.
Two out of three of the bosses can be devoured, but they must be below 20% health and have some hefty capacity requirements.
Also, edible doodads are now a thing.
Mushrooms in the cave biome can be eaten by landing a devour attack on them.
They currently give a little weight, some calories and have a small chance of causing indigestion.
However, in the future there'll be edible doodads that give special effects.
Thank you all for your continuing patience! I really hope it'll be worth the wait!

Thanks for all of the great ideas! I definitely need to add some kind of 'credits' thing for supporters.
I hope you'll be pleased with the update when it finally comes out, it's been one hell of a doozy to make at the very least!
Something I noticed while I was exporting the latest build is how much bigger the file size has gotten.
It's gone from a 66mb .zip file all the way to 330mb! Obviously that isn't an indicator of quality, but maybe of how much new stuff there is!

Wow, this looks really good. Also I will obviously try to nom edible bosses with Explorer to see how much capacity I need. Hopefully my current perks will be good enough for that.

Re: (Update: 21/01/25) Endeavore: Dawn Seeker
First Public Release (18/04)
It's finally here!
This update brings the relaunch of Dawn Seeker, featuring 15 levels, new enemies, sfx, music, art, mechanics.
There's a lot to go over so I'll try to be brief.
Starting a new game is recommended, the difficulty starts at level 1. Your old saves should work but if you're high level and geared most levels will be very easy. In that case, I recommend increasing the difficulty in the new teleporter menu.
If you do start a new game, you'll be greeted by the new Preferences Menu. Here you'll be able to change your settings before even starting the game. After the preferences menu you'll make your way through the brand-new Tutorial, which will hopefully do a better job of teaching you some of the basics. However, I still recommend reading the manual if you get stuck.
After finishing the Tutorial you'll find yourself in the brand-new ship! Don't be confused that there's no door for Navigation, there's only one 'planet' at the moment, so Navigation serves no purpose, so I haven't done it yet. Make sure to check out all the new settings in the Computer menu found in your Quarters as well. After familiarising yourself with your ship (the bed works, it speeds up digestion) you'll make your way to the Teleporter room. Stepping on the teleporter will open the menu allowing you to select a mission. Missions are now progression locked by bosses, meaning to unlock the next 5 levels you'll need to defeat the boss of the previous 5. If the game is too easy, feel free to click on the star to raise the difficulty, but also the rewards.
If you've played the game previously, you'll be familiar with most of it but there'll be a few new things. Edible objects are present in every level. Simply land a devour attack on them to eat them, filling your belly, gaining calories and possibly other effects.
There's a lot of other little things that you'll encounter along the way, and I hope you enjoy them!
Being that this is such a large update there'll no doubt be a lot of bugs and issues, feel free to contact me with your problems and I'll see what I can do. The best way to contact me is on the Discord but anywhere works.
Thank you for your patience! I hope the update was worth the wait and hopefully the next one won't take as long.

Started testing this update and started new save. I like it so far.
Expanded ship is cool but feels kinda empty.
