I get a similar bug to this, but I think it is because I run a.v.i.a.n and that mod breaks custom races that it doesn't support.
Wait. A.V.I.A.N. can't be used with this mod?! Damnit! I loved that mod, it's adorable!

IT can be used, it just has problems with custom races... so yeah use it expecting it to crash. Also always double check, I have a shit ton of mods on and I just know a.v.i.a.n has been the cause of a few of their crashes.

SO I checked npcchart.png, and I fund a couple of tags which I couldn't find in the tag website the wiki has (poke, fenerox, kineptic, avali etc.) What items have these tags? Also, what do the numbers mean next to the tags? I don't have nearly 12 slime items in my tenant's house, yet I got a slime girl. I'm still new to this tenant thing.

poke is pokemon items, added by this mod area is vore food hall.
fenerox is a race found on desert plannets, that tag only has 3 items under it, a bed, table, and chair.
kineptic I think is a mod race.
avali is a mod race.
also you do not need 12 items you need 12 squares, example the average chair takes up 6-8 squares so having one chair can put you at teh half way point to an item, beds almost always put you at the points for a tag, though in a large room the more you have the higher chances for other things.

I don't understand, when a tenant eat me, I can still see and control my character why at the same time the tenant now have a bulge, is it because of mod incompatibility or just a bug?

It depends.
Are ya in admin mode or on yer ship? If ya are, then it's not a bug; they can't eat ya in admin mode, and they can't eat ya on yer ship unless ya tweak a certain value in the SSVM files. Note that tweakin' said value also makes pretty much permanently makes that character vulnerable on their ship.
If ya aren't in admin mode or on yer ship, then yah, it is a bug. This bug can usually be fixed by downloadin' this mod, and followin' the instructions in the mod's overview page. The mod page may say "outdated", but it still works.
I be fulla sharp things.

Re: Unofficial SSVM, Version 8.0.3
This is just a small problem, probably doesn't need immediate attention.
Prey NPCs don't seem to say their "death" lines when dying and just die if you release them. I also don't notice them evolving their personality either. Is this a problem caused when Starbound 1.0 or is it something else entirely?

This has eluded me for a while but I think the problem is the box is appearing the second they die but because they die the box disappears just as fast.
The evolving personality thing does work, it's just it takes 10 times of eating them but I should really make it time based. I'm redoing the scripts very very soon so you won't have to worry about these things much longer.

Re: Unofficial SSVM, Version 8.0.3
Is it possible to script it so that we can have vore crew members.
like giving them a special crew class or something. (as I know it is possible to create crew classes that ignore cloths set by the player), though said predators would have to be coded not to eat the player...
Also suggestion
Would it be possible to add special vore creatures to the captured monster lists for quests. like a tenant giving you something to trade for a creature pod with a pradatory snake or bird in it. would have to be limited to prey tenants, and they would have to be marked to never join crew.(personally think that quest but never join crew thing should apply to preds to)

... Those are both really good suggestions. I can totally give them a special crew specialization.
As for the capture orb thing that would be a fun way to make vore pets accessible but I think I would rather sell them in a store.

why not do both, with the store ones being the easiest way but the quest ones being harder, with the player weighing on cost vs time. that and through quests you can give NPC's home pets which are pretty cool, especially when you end up with defensive pets.
idea example
birb
discrption: large hawk like creature, that can eat things upto 10x its size, its stomach has been described as a pocket demintion filled with acid and flesh.
cost: 5k pixel
quest: mouse problem
giver: prey tenant
quest stages
stage one: tenant mentions mouse problem, and has you kill a set of rodants in their home. (standard small things).
stage two: tenant thanks you for clearing out the mice and asks you to take a [food] item to a merchant.
stage three: once food item is brought to merchant they give you the creature pod with the birb
end stage: you bring the pod to the tenant and they release it in their home, birb will randomly eat small creatures that will spawn in the area from this point on, birb can also eat tenant and player if poked to much.

Might I suggest adding a hunger-freezing effect to SPOs? I like to be able to use them in place of beds, but at the moment they're missing that crucial bit of functionality.

Not all SPOs have digestion, and the basic harmless SPO is taken off the base model bed so if it's not "Hungry" or doesn't have "Digest" or any other indication of digestion, then the SPO in question will actually heal you slowly as a wooden bed

He means the actual hunger system for survival in the game I believe.
