I continue to be impressed by the quality of writing in this game, although some of my earlier overall issues remain. Perhaps some of this has been addressed in the Patreon version, but going by the public build, I still can't find ways to avoid the brother and father content, and it's still a bit of a pain leaving the house (especially with the random chance of the dad waking up when you try to grab the key). When I eventually got out I found the map was impressively large, but it also features random encounters like the German Shepherd family, so by exploring the map I encounter situations where the game ends and I start back in my room needing to grab the key, which takes a while and includes a random chance of being eaten by dad. It really impacts the replayability for me, where a chance to skip to escaping your house would fix a lot of these issues.
I see mention above of the ability to interact with the toilet to toggle disposal scenes, which doesn't appear to work in the public version, though I appreciate it may be new and only included in the Patreon build.
Also as a minor point, the directions in the house still mix left/right with east/west, which can be confusing. Once I had the key and tried to go to dad's room, but stumbled into the brother's room and into his extended kink and vore sequence. Probably edit the hallway description to also use east/west for dad and brother's rooms.
Hope this doesn't come across as too negative! The reason I want to point this all out is because I think this is such a well written game that I'd like to play more of, so I want to flag up the aspects that are holding me back from doing so.

Come join us, hang out, role play, post memes, chat, and have a good time! Second, the exciting edition of the third Secret Ending! Secret Endings are much harder to find and are not included on the regular walkthrough, however, Patrons have access to the special Secret Ending Guide that gives you the exact steps for how to reach the secret scene!

This introduces Mukiro, a seductive chef who doesn't appreciate you messing around in the kitchen, but does appreciate messing around with a good snack in the kitchen. Mukiro was kind enough to let me add his character to both the Furry Edition and Human Edition so both sides will be able to experience the new scene! With the really exciting addition of Mukiro as the first Patron Original Character predator in my game, I got his kind permission to share the full scene with you to demonstrate what you can expect as a Fully Digested Tier Patron! In spite of the earlier demos being out there I really wanted to share with you what one of the full scripts is looking like these days and especially for a Patron OC since we haven't had one before! The exact length and content will vary on a case by case basis and I really had a good time writing his so it might be a tiny bit long but I think it's at least a good baseline to get the idea across.

This scene was very fun to write. I usually tend to write the big bad rough preds a lot more so writing a bit more of a seductive, playful character was a very fun jaunt for me. This contains the Human Edition version of the scene, M/M Sex, Size Difference, Semi-willing Oral Vore, and Unwilling Permanent Digestion. It does not contain Disposal but I am able to write Disposal for Patron scenes as well as other kink such as full Macro/Micro, Paw, Stomp/Crush content, Furry and/or Human, and more!
For quick context for anyone unfamiliar with the game: This scene takes place in the Gon Navore University Campus Cafeteria's kitchen. Your character, a natural born prey (i.e. roughly half the height of the natural born predators), is attempting to escape his pred-heavy neighborhood but has gotten sidetracked, attempting to bake a cake in the kitchen's oven.

Winter was kind enough to let me add his character to both the Furry Edition and Human Edition so both sides will be able to experience the new scene! Today we have another big update! This update adds another Patron original character! This is for our outstanding Great Googly Moogly Tier patron and is the longest and most complicated scene in the game yet! This one introduces his character Ramiro, the mysterious and hypnotic president of the campus occult club. This gregarious predator really lets you choose your own experience and has the first scene with extensive dialogue options leading to multiple endings! This scene contains hypnosis, oral vore, sex, teasing, and optional musk, feet, pits, disposal, hard digestion, and is our first scene with clothing tf and sentient fat tf. It is a doozy!! I really hope you guys enjoy it!
By joining at the Fully Digested Tier or higher you can also have your own character added to the game as a fully integrated predator or prey!
I'm happy to say I'll be announcing the first Patron only movie night here soon! Details to follow but if everything works smoothly hopefully everyone can stop by and catch a silly Halloween movie!

As a piece of unfortunate news: For the last 2 weeks the Quest servers at textadventures.co.uk have been down. This does not inhibit people from playing the offline version at all but does unfortunately give a server error when anyone tries to play the online version or any of the demos. We creators have heard nothing from site administration and I have tried to reach out via help ticket, forum, and facebook to try to find out if they're working on the issue but so far I haven't heard anything back. Because of this, I am unable to do a release for the online player for this version of the game at the moment. As SOON as the servers are back up I will upload it and notify everyone! In the meantime, for any of my patrons who are ONLY able to play via the online player (due to only having a mac or mobile), please reach out to me directly via patreon or discord and I will manually send you a copy of the new script for either the furry or human editions per your tier so you can still enjoy the new scene! I am looking into options for if worst comes to worst and the servers do not come back up. I don't intend to leave out my mac/mobile players if I can absolutely avoid it so please stick with me!

I tested it and it seems to be working for now at least so, fingers crossed, it stays working. I am still going to look into option for possibly moving the game to another engine I have to worry about less but this at least makes it a less... immediate need. Hello, everyone!
Today we have another update I'm very happy to bring you! This is a special commission of TWO new characters, Valtum and Acrim by axiomejejune! Check out his page at https://www.furaffinity.net/user/axiomjejune/ This new AV scene is I think the first couples vore scene I've really done and is a very sexy wild romp on the way! It includes disposal if you have that enabled and he was kind enough to allow me to create human versions for them in the Human Edition as well! It was a difficult scene to translate from furry to human but I think it came out pretty well when the dust settled! I hope you guys enjoy it!
Also, if you didn't see the notice, the Quest servers are back up and running so this version will be available online as well! It's such a relief to have the online version working again!
By joining at the Fully Digested Tier you can also have your own character added to the game as a fully integrated predator or prey!
I'm so happy to say the Patron Only Discord Server has been going really well so far! Everybody have been lovely and have been sharing art, captions, and memes and we've got some people looking for roleplays so please come visit us!

Hello, everyone!
It is a well-known fact that I love Halloween and today I bring you just in time for the special day itself... *drumroll* the Escape The Neighborhood Halloween Update!! I have been working tirelessly to get this one out for you guys with very little time to do it! This brings not one, not two, not three, but FOUR all new scenes!!! Three OV scenes (two full size and one shrunken) and one full size CV scene (sorry AV fans I just didn't have it in me this time around)! These special Halloween themed scenes I had a blast writing! They're not each as long as the huge ones I've been putting out lately but they're still pretty hefty between them and have some familiar faces, and a mysterious new character. I worked super hard to get this update out in time for Halloween, I think I've been working on it for about the last 10-11 hours straight and I'm pretty exhausted so if there are any errors please let me know! Honestly, I would also LOVE to know what you guys think of these scenes, please let me know!
Also, the Quest servers are back up and running after another brief outage so this special new version will be available online as well!

Update Notes:
Major Updates:
- Added a new area with 3 new OV scenes and 1 new CV scene. This area can be accessed by sleeping on the bed in the Open Dorm Room.
- This also changes the time passing mechanic. Now, scenes that previously had to be triggered by time passing by being mugged by Ajax will now be passed here instead. Initially having that be a trigger for time passing was just a thing but as time went on I realized it made less and less sense for it to be the major catalyst for time progression so now this event which takes up more time in the story actively makes sense to cause time to move forward narratively. There may still be other scenes that will rely on Ajax's scene in the future but currently any that previously required being bullied by him first now require this instead. I think I have it fixed without any issues but there certainly could be some as there were several scenes that referred to that event so if you run into any issues please let me know!
Minor Updates:
- I will be updating the walkthroughs to reflect the changes in time progression but I am too tired to do that tonight before bed so I will do that tomorrow. Just be aware if any scene in the walkthrough says you need to do Ajax's scene first it's talking about visiting the new ones.
- A new Cheat Code has been added for Swallowed+ Tier patrons to allow them to jump immediately to the new content.

Thank you for your patience! I have the new update ready to go for you today! This adds one more scene to the Nightmare from the Halloween update! This is an AV scene with a new werewolf character! This was a fun one to try to do for both the furry and human editions, making a more furry werewolf for the furry version and a more human werewolf for the human version. Hopefully the human one came out human enough! For my human players, let me know what you think! If disposal is enabled, this scene contains strong references to disposal but doesn't directly show it, I wanted this one to be a little different so I hope you guys still enjoy it.

Thank you again for your patience! I'm sorry this update was a bit delayed as well. I started getting sick right before Thanksgiving and ended up getting VERY sick. Saturday I even ended up having a pretty severe blackout in the shower for the first time in years which took me a couple days to recover from so it slowed me down a lot. I'm much better now though! This update is a new AV scene with our very own patron Mukiro in the campus cafeteria kitchen! This is another really fun one and I'm so grateful to him for the opportunity to write it for him! - I have discovered an error with Quest where at some times when traveling between areas the map freezes and simply will not fix itself. This only seems to happen on the desktop version and not the Online version (finally a win for the Online users!). I believe this has something to do with Quest's memory since I haven't done anything with that section of the code in ages and it was previously fine but I'm not sure. I have reached out on the quest forums for assistance but at the moment the only fix for this bug is to restart. It does not hinder any other features, just the visual map.

This only seems to happen on the desktop version and not the Online version (finally a win for the Online users!). I believe this has something to do with Quest's memory since I haven't done anything with that section of the code in ages and it was previously fine but I'm not sure. I have reached out on the quest forums for assistance but at the moment the only fix for this bug is to restart. It does not hinder any other features, just the visual map.

Hello, everyone!
I hope everyone has been having a wonderful holiday season! Thank you for your patience as I've been working around the holidays. Today I bring the last update of 2023! This is my first Absorption Vore scene, courtesy of our wonderful patron Krow with his fantastic returning character Ramiro! This is also a new Macro/Micro scene with some light OV happening in the background. As an exciting new field of vore with a big focus on big paws, this is an excellent way to wrap up the year!
To be sentimental for a moment: This patreon and project has meant so much to me and has helped me so much. Not only has it been the only thing keeping me going financially, but it has given me something to keep working on, and goals for myself. This last year has been a horrible year, but the wonderful support from all of you has really given me the strength to keep pushing through it. Hello everybody! What a year 2023 was! Thank you so much to everybody who played Escape the Neighborhood! Escape the Neighborhood has grown so much over the last year I felt the need to release a new demo to show how far it's come! As of the previous demo I believe it had roughly 17 endings. As of the end of 2023 the game is up to a total of 42 endings and 3 special "secret" endings! Not counting the Human Edition and area descriptions, flavor text, etc, the scripts alone amount to over 171,000 words! I cannot believe I have written that much but that does mean there is so much more to show you guys! This updated version of the demo contains all the QoL fixes to the game over the last year, almost all of the previous endings (though there are a couple that are no longer available in the demo), as well as - for the first time ever - the additional (optional) Disposal scenes for all the previous scenes in the game! It also contains a small handful of new scenes as well as previews for all but a few of the other new scenes added since the previous demo! It also contains 1 of the 3 secret endings for you to find! Previously, the Human Edition Demo only included 3 scenes. Now it contains all of the scenes featured in the Furry Edition Demo!
For the previews, as they are not complete scenes they will not result in a Game Over like the normal scenes would. I've tried to reset things after each preview so you can continue playing but there may be some that are a little buggy, please forgive any resets that may cause.
This version does not contain the Cheat Codes feature available to Patrons or the background images for every area available in the Patron version.

It's finally that time. The day of year every prey dreads. "Pred Day". Every year on the first day of Fall is Pred Day, when any pred can eat any prey of legal age with no legal repercussions or social stigma, not that there's much of either for preds these days. Some preds go on a hunting spree, fucking and swallowing down anything that moves. Hell, some preds even accidentally eat other preds. (Though of course preds are naturally resistant to digestion so usually the swallower will notice and rectify their mistake far before it's too late, but not always...)
For the last 21 years of your life it just meant staying inside or staying close to your dad or brother, two preds nobody in their right mind would mess with. But now that you turned 21 a few days ago (Happy Birthday by the way!) you are officially on the menu. And not just for random strangers, no no no, as a prey you're now at risk of being a snack for any pred that crosses your path, even your own family!
For some mixed pred/prey families, the bond of family is enough to protect the smaller, weaker prey members and the preds of the family will protect their kin with a ferocity that is not to be taken lightly. For others, there's a shared indifference. After all prey is prey and if someone from the family doesn't eat them then someone else will. But for some families like yours, well... let's just say your father and brother both heartily celebrated your birthday and not for the same reason you did. In fact, your dad and brother have been arguing for the last few weeks about who is going to put you in their tank.
Now it's the day you've been dreading and you have a plan with just a few simple steps. As a prey minor, you couldn't legally go anywhere unaccompanied by an adult, even after general adulthood at 18, but now your goals are to escape your family, escape your house, escape your neighborhood, and find a prey only city somewhere far away where you can settle down and make a life for yourself. But it won't be easy. Between your dad and your brother, you're in the lion's den so to speak. Your father's locked the doors and windows in preparation and you haven't been allowed outside the house since your birthday. Not to mention you live in one of the most pred-heavy neighborhoods in town. It'll take all your wits to make it out alive, and if you fail there're no second chances.

I have been continuing to work on the map glitch with a very helpful member of the Quest forum but still haven't been able to get it resolved. I recommend in the meantime not going too quickly between the buildings on campus, give the game just a second to think before going in or out the doors, or leaving/entering campus. Moving around within an area doesn't cause any issue it's just leaving/entering areas that causes the map to glitch. I also recommend saving now and then if possible.

Good grief January just shot right past! Today I bring you a new scene with a face we haven't seen in quite a long time. Anyone remember the beefy rhino gym coach from one of the first houses waaaay back when? Well he's back, babyyyy and boy is he hungry and horny!!! And boy was I in a mood when I wrote this one! Be ready for some very kinky fun here!
I have been continuing to work on the map glitch with a very helpful member of the Quest forum but still haven't been able to get it resolved. I still recommend in the meantime not going too quickly between the buildings on campus, give the game just a second to think before going in or out the doors, or leaving/entering campus. Moving around within an area doesn't cause any issue it's just leaving/entering areas that causes the map to glitch. I also recommend saving now and then if possible.

- Edited the Cheat Codes that lead to Disposal scenes so you no longer have to manually input the disposal cheat first. Instead the game will ask you if you want to enable or disable disposal before teleporting you to the location. For most of them the game will also automatically equip you with your phone so you can change the setting in case you accidentally click the wrong option (except for areas where you can't have your phone on you such as when you're a micro).
Minor Updates:
- Added a new cheat to access the new scene quickly.
- Recoded all of the cheats so now they should no longer cause the (harmless but annoying) string of errors when teleporting the player. I tested them and they should all be working but if you run into any issues with any of them please let me know!

People have asked before when we'd get our first super fat pred and today, courtesy of our wonderful patron Hircus Grey, we have our very first scene with the supersized Bubba the Glut! This massive hippo is one of the meanest preds we've had yet and if you have Disposal enabled you'll get to see quite a display of his previous prey! If you don't want to see that sort of thing though just leave disposal off for a slightly more toned-down version of the scene, but even then he's still a scary pred to be cornered by! After a great deal of troubleshooting and rebuilding every exit on the map it appears that Quest simply might not be able to contain my game for much longer as the issue seems to be in Quest's memory. I knew this day would come eventually and I've been preparing for it. My goal for 2024 is going to be to move EtN into a new engine. I will continue to release updates for Quest as usual in the meantime while working on a solution that continues to provide for my PC, Mac, and Mobile users. This will have no effects on the game right now or in the near future but I will update you as we go. I really don't want to sacrifice the quality, vibe, and overall "adventure" feeling of EtN so I will not be moving the game to Twine or a similar program that lacks the map, item, inventory, and movement capabilities provided by Quest.

I hope everyone is doing well! People have asked before when we'd get our first super fat pred and today, courtesy of our wonderful patron Hircus Grey, we have our very first scene with the supersized Bubba the Glut! This massive hippo is one of the meanest preds we've had yet and if you have Disposal enabled you'll get to see quite a display of his previous prey! If you don't want to see that sort of thing though just leave disposal off for a slightly more toned-down version of the scene, but even then he's still a scary pred to be cornered by! Happy March! Can you believe we are up to Version 40? Well to celebrate not only Version 40 but the one year anniversary of the EtN Patreon, there's somebody who's just been waiting to have another go at the player and he's finally gotten out of the house! He's big, he's back, and he's better than ever! That's right! After a year of waiting we have our first new scene with your older brother Dixon! This big buck is on the hunt for you! This new OV scene was way too much fun to write and adds a little bit of a new mini-mechanic to the game too! I'm so grateful to my patron Mukiro for commissioning this scene! I have added a "Known Bugs" note to the Intro to account for the two unfixable map bugs.
