afaik it has a very rare chance of spawning in the dilapidated halls and appeared after i got jump scared in the next room. You know you found it when every other ghost in the room flees.

Probably not since it happens too fast to be reactable in the dark. And speaking of, i may have to change my opinion on 2.0 because while 99% of the update has been a blast with a really fun aesthetic, jumpscares are a thing i can't handle as it's something my body has no control over in how it reacts to it and it just makes me anxious as all hell to where it's making it hard to enjoy the game by expecting it to happen at any moment.
A)is that the "floor hazard" feature of the dilapidated halls
and
B)is there some way to manipulate how often that stratum/"trap" occurs

Press V while standing next to a ghost that's been stunned, continue pressing V to deal more damage, E heals the ghost inside you to keep it inside longer at the cost of your HP, and Q releases the ghost.

After you stun an enemy with the lantern, quickly run up to them and push V. It's risky in crowds but it's good against high threat targets when cornered like Maw

I feel like im missing something obvious lmao. Is it a specific item, and if so which one?

Endosomatic Heart. Looks like a melty heart on the shop pedestal. Allows you to befriend ghosts after not struggling for a bit.

..Not all ghosts can be befriended, but most are able to, and that'll get you a "Fed" entry.

any non-beast or miniboss usually is a no-go on feeding. Attempting to will still cause you to take a lot of damage since the ghost speeds up around that time. feeding some ghosts is very risky, like Maw, since he does so much damage to you every tick.

Speaking of ghosts, here are my 2.0 rankings for all of the ghosts (And traps too):

Honeygast (Getting caught = Rip my fingers), Fang (Really hate that plushify debuff so much), Xenosheet, Lorenzo, Maw

=[Very Tough Tier]=
Spiriserpent (Only issue is that the time to escape from them is long), Mirrim, Funhouse Trap

=[Equal Power Tier]=
Magi, Mitsuro, Jellotin, Fewmi, Ikali, Lullaby, Sandsnare, Zahra, Shower Trap, Observatory Trap

=[Slightly an issue Tier]=
Bunnygeist, Tsughos, Modesty, Lamply, Spookobold, Seraph, Visor, "Nova", Yuko, Dinostuffed, Kitchen Trap, Overgrowth Trap

=[Baby Tier]=
Angello, Waboomi, Naru, Plain (My personal favorite), "Friend" (Have to be careful not to rest in their stomach for too long, instant kill), Kamnspi (My second personal favorite), Dungeon Trap, Boiler Trap, Temple Trap

More info:
- This is common enemy rankings, not counting a few that I missed in my playthrough.
- Fewmi's placement is questionable. For Hardcore, this'll be in the [Very Tough Tier] due to the fact that the homing projectile (Which lingers for way too long) can inflict nausea.
- Zahra's placement is also questionable, but if you care about your money (Ex: Normal or Hardcore), then this is likely high Equal Power Tier.
- Lullaby's placement is higher because of the projectile debuff, and the Observatory Trap's placement because of the absurd damage inflicted if you're not careful (Thanks for giving me a jumpscare LMAO).
- Funhouse is my least favorite area, and you kind of guess why due to the enemy selection and the trap itself.
- Characters with multi vore stages like Angello and Spiriserpent have higher placement, excluding the former. Without it, Spiriserpent would be in the [Equal Power Tier]. They just take an awful amount of time to escape, hence dividing your escape progress by 2 when traveling to the next phase.
- I ranked (I think) all of the heavy hitters in the [Your Worse Nightmare] tier because they're the only one that deals 5 damage. Xenosheet is the most powerful and the fastest vore DPS. Fang's debuff wouldn't have enough time for you to recover and flash your light to escape out of the situation. Lorenzo and Maw are slightly tolerable, but they're still painfully dangerous.
- Off context, but dying would mean that the things you've already buy will be lost upon reloading the save (And it doesn't save once you've already buy something).

I'm really really enjoying the full game so far! Just some quick questions about things that I didn't quite understand...

1: Is the Dilapidated Halls meant to be the final floor? The game keeps going on afterward so I have to assume either there's a specific floor number I have to reach, there's some secret on DH I didn't find, or the game is genuinely still just as infinite as it was in 1.0.
2: Are the guns meant to be useless, or is there some purpose to them I just couldn't figure out?
3: Is the Endo Heart really rare, or are there specific conditions for finding it? (Or is my luck just terrible?)

Flash the ghosts, quickly change your weapon, and then shoot them. That's pretty much all I know about the mechanic.

In preparation for re-adding my rat to the game, i figured changing up the ghostiary a little bit to match her thoughts on ghosts would be a good start

okay without modding damage numbers, how do you get the Kamnshi game over screen because that is the cutest goddamn spritework i have ever seen and it's a shame it's so hard to get? they don't hurt i don't think so i don't know how they'd defeat you.

i assume it's added as a "Well if you want to tweak them, here's game over art to use".

It's just an available option if the damage numbers are modded.

This is so cool i hadn't played the first one so not sure how much was added exactly but this is so cool the sprite art is so polished and nice and writing charming, i love it
Oh and your website though not filled up yet since this is one of the first full games is also really well-made.
Looking at the changelog and seeing hard mode adds "-All chairs are angry" made me laugh cause ya those things are pissed for real

The only thing I'd fix up is that the save destruction toggle doesn't actually remember as a toggle so you have to turn it back on every time your on the main menu so like every time you die
