Happy the site's back up, even if there's more work to still be done. But, everyone can see all the art they've been missing out on and that's been fun! It also means I get to keep updating the comic like I want, and I love sharing it with all of you. But, I'm feeling kind of selfish. I'd like to treat myself, and if anyone out there would like to volunteer, leave a comment below. In a week, I'll be doing a randomized drawing to see who gets to get a little up close and personal.

So, I got a message in my email from Tumblr that Sap in the Grass started two years ago. Two years. For whatever reason it felt like I spent maybe a month on this, but it really has been on my mind for this long. I was going back and reading it again from beginning to present and I got reinspired to force myself to make time to add pages. The next day my computer stopped working.

I bought a new one, I've got most of my files and programs back up and running, but I also spent this time doing what I love doing: rewriting the scripts I've finished. Honestly, I need need need to finish the current chapter up quickly so I can get into the next chapter, because I think it will be interesting but it will also be one of those lame drama-focused chapters.

I'm back from Blizzcon, and have a business trip this coming week, so realistically Vorevember just was not meant to be. But, I will still be trying to fit in some drawings when regular schedules are happening.

On that topic, I posted a shitty sketch I did in my hotel room and I'm surprised how many likes it's getting overnight. You guys really like WoW stuff? Any specific requests? I'm mostly self-indulgent but if this is a thing you guys really like I would like to factor in anything specific you might be looking for. Vulpera? Naga? Dragons? Gnomes? Mechagnomes? Leper Gnomes? Shadow Priest Gnomes? I got no idea, let me know.

On my twitter I'm doing Inktober, which has been a fun exercise and excuse to at least do a doodle a day. I'm thinking when I'm done I'll migrate the practice over to Eka's with a vore doodle a day for the month of November.

I want to ask, though, would silly little sketches or doodles once a day be obnoxious or is that something you'd like to see? I can't promise high quality, likely won't color any of them, but it might be an excuse to humor some requests that have been hanging around for a while. Leave a comment if you have any opinions. Just sit in the fridge if you don't feel like doing anything else, I'll get to you later.

I dunno, I kind of want some fun money but my art isn't actually of monetary quality, and it got me thinking.
I've tried a couple times to set up a regular commission schedule and some pricing standards, but the reality is that I'm kind of putting the cart before the horse a little. I get requests from time to time, sometimes for things I'm not interested in drawing or uncomfortable in drawing. Sometimes, though, someone will ask me to draw a picture that's right up my alley and I feel confident in my ability to pull it off.

So, the tl;dr is this: I dunno how to do comms. I'm still learning art and I am slowly getting better. Please do feel comfortable reaching to to me as you have been, I don't mean to be dismissive but if I don't wanna draw something I cannot...

Friend of mine got a little upset when they found someone on F-List using one of my pictures for a profile picture. This person never asked me for permission to use my art, but I look at a few profiles on that website and people use all kinds of pictures. There is stolen My Little Pony artwork that Hasbro owns, there is stolen Warcraft art that Blizzard owns, on top of stuff from independent artists that could maybe use a buck.

I just thought I'd make it clear how I feel, I would appreciate it if you want to use my art for something you just ask. I don't want anyone touching my original characters, but a lot of my stuff is art for others or fan art. It's not anything worth getting worked up about, but just reach out and ask.

I set a lot of goals last year that didn't get accomplished. Day job was time-consuming, I actually had to quit my second job and focus on my primary. I wanted to get a lot more art projects done, not just for this site but just daily sketches to learn and grow. That, time or not as an excuse, was neglected.

I'm going to try again this year, hopefully the goals I've set are much more attainable and I hope the result is some stuff for you all to enjoy. One constant I've been able to rely on last year was all the positivist and support from you. All my followers on Eka's are just super nice and it's thanks to you that I regained my faith in the art community. Just wanted to put a little update now that I have a handful of followers.
First of all, I get a lot of questions about whether or not I'll be continuing Sap in the Grass. The answer is YES!
I have the next 2 chapters actually written already, just need to find time to sit down and draw. The art I've been doing is just doodles from spare moments but when I do something like a comic I like to have a routine work environment. Should be something soon, though, I assure you.

I'm sorry, I drank too much and decided to upload something, and in the process I deleted a whole folder. This may or may not have effected some of your favorites or something, I think I got it fixed.

Honestly didn't think my first slot auction would sell quite so quickly, but now that my belly is full I have to wonder what else you guys would like to see from me.
