Boy, this month flew by fast! I guess it's three days shorter than most, but I really felt it this year. But it was still a good one for me.

I've added a "lore and backstory" page to the interactive. It is completely optional reading and has no bearing on the story but can give you some additional context. Right now it just has one chapter of Professor Poplar's Guide to Pikachu and the Crooked Tree story in it. But I plan on adding more...

Lulu decides to team up with an angsty Vulpix. The Fire-type will bring much needed protection against Grass and Bug. However, the Vulpix seems a bit strange and is still a predator at the end of the day. Lulu is putting a lot of trust in this red fox Pokemon she just met. Let's hope, for her sake, her decision doesn't come back to bite her, literally.

Only got about half as far as I wanted but I am happy with what I did get done. Plus it laid good groundwork for this month.
January was a surprisingly busy month, IRL wise. But in the end, a good one for me. Hopefully life...

Kinda lackluster on the progress but I expected it given it was December. It is the busiest work and friends/family month for me. My goal for each month is 30k and I fell quite short. But I did manage to snag a laptop from Santa. This means I don't have to type on my phone anymore! So hopefully it is a lot quicker and I can properly use spellcheck the first time. Total revamp of the Duke arc

A good portion of the new word count is redundant text. By that I mean, similar endings often have overlapping text, so take that with a grain of salt. I am much more happy with the Duke arc now that is completed. Basically every page I had to go over with a fine tooth comb and make sure everything was lining up and was proofread. Which, oh boy, there were a lot of mistakes but I got most of them, I hope. Still not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but better. I wanted to give Zuk a bit more...

Not much in the way of new content this month and no progress in terms of new story arcs. This is pretty much just padding out missing pages in the start and in the persian encounter. I did make a lot of progress in proof reading though. I've now developed a system of running the text through a spell checker then through a text reader. I'm confident I'm now catching 95% of misspellings and grammar issues. It is slower going but my goal is to not look like a complete idiot, just somewhat of an idiot. Of course it won't catch everything but hopefully now there is only one typo...
