So we finally got info on Petey!.....he's a boss. That isn't to say that maybe he's still playable somehow, but for now, he's a boss. Check the update here:

Here's the jist of it. Petey is the first boss and you're playing as Kirby, meaning that for now, you can't pick your own character in story mode until we get more ifno. As you saw before, Petey caught Zelda and Pech in two cages somehow, though you'd think Zelda could just teleport out of there. Rather than harm Petey, you're suppose to beat up on the cages. The first one that gets the most damage releases the princess in there.

But wait! What about the other princess, you ask? Well...I'm guessing Petey will high-tail it out of...

If there is one update I like to see on the Smash Brothers Dojo website, it's new characters. Lo and behold, we got a new update that is a new character. Diddy Kong, to be precise.

At first, I thought it was an assist trophey, but then it loaded the Newcomer logo right about him, which of course made me excited. I feel that Diddy Kong does deserve a spot, especcially after him becoming a video game hero of some kind in Donkey Kong Country 2, which you'll see if you beat the game and have a certain amount of an item.

This update also made me wonder if we may see Dixie by any chance. Most people thought it would be Diddy and Dixie together, but seeing as Dixie was kinda....forgotten for awhile and hasn't been used as much as Diddy, I'm not too sure. I wouldn't...

Today's update had a new video clip of Brawl's single player story mode. At the end, we see Petey Piranha capturing Peach and Zelda.....in cages. Sorry vore fans. ^^;

So there has been some debate on several sites as whether Petey is playable....or just a boss. The thing I want to know is why he has gotten so much attention from Nintendo to be appearing in several games. It's kinda...odd to me. It'll be even odder if he is a playable character, but I would accept it if he is a newcomer. I'm sure some people are a fan of him. Still, if any other Mario character got in, I figured Waluigi would be high up on the list of main characters.

If there is one bad habit of mine I wish I could get rid of, it's not finishing what I've started. I'm talking about games here....well, then again, when am I NOT talking about games? =P


It's hard to explain, so I'll do my best. Do you ever play a game that you like....and all of a sudden, one day, you just stop playing it? You never have the urge to play it again either, no matter if you had fun with it or not. I have....and it happens a lot. In fact, nowadays, I tend to rarely beat games I get. It seems like these days, I get games just for collection purposes rather than for gaming. o_o;

Amazon.com recently allowed pre-orders on the core PSP Slim and the Daxter bundle. I have been wanting a PSP for Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X, but I found a few other games that I really want compaired to other games. In fact, several are at the top of my most wanted list currently. So here I am, wanting to pre-order the Daxter bundle when I get my next paycheck.

Recently I've been trying trials of MMORPG's, mainly for fun but also to see what is out there. Mainly this started when I got into the Grando Espada beta, and from there got a key to try Dungeon Runners. Now I've downloaded trials for City of Heroes and World of Warcraft.


First I tried City of Heroes and....I never got past the character creation Somehow, I must have a terrible sense of design as I couldn't really make my character appealing. Most of the options didn't really fit what I had in mind, and what I managed to put together....didn't compliment the other parts of my character's body. After a hour of fiddling with it, I logged off. I intend to give it another chance, but I'm not sure how I want to design my character. o_O

So in the closest of the guest room, I found a mint condition bozed NES game system. This had the original NES, 2 controllers, an orange zapper, Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, and AirWolfe for some reason. I traded in AirWolfe to a used game store awhile ago, but lately I hooked up the NES to the TV in my room and have been playing it for old times sake.


The NES was my first game system ever, so the rush of nostalgia came when I started playing the original Mario Bros. It had been several years since I played on an original NES controller, but it felt great. Lately I've found myself playing on it for awhile. Also the smell of a brand new NES is.....well, wonderful. I love the smell of new games and game systems. ^^;;

Way back in the old days, my first fray into the Final Fantasy series was Final Fantasy 6, which at the time was called Final Fantasy 3 on the SNES since they originally skipped out on some of the other games in the series. Final Fantasy 6 is one of those games that I can play and never get old with it, to a point anyway. It's hard to describe why, though. In any case, now that it has gone portable, I bought it about two weeks ago and I'm getting near the end. Time to give my thoughts on it.


First off, the music isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Sure, it sounds downgraded in some cases, but other cases will cause you not to pay much attention to it as you play on because it sounds pretty good still.
