In the era after Hercules set Prometheus free, the titan left the Mediterranean Sea and traveled across the world to distant lands. Along the way he sired many children on goddesses and mortals he met in his travels. These children demonstrated an enormous capacity to grow and change to adapt to the world around them and they were titled "Prometheans."
The Prometheans and their descendants became legends told of in countless mythical traditions: The Lycanthropes of the Black Forest, the Tanuki of the Eastern Isles, the Selkie of the Fey Lands, and many more. But of all the Prometheans, one had a talent for the ways of man above all others. The daughter of a minor river goddess along the western edge of India, Sadhee embraced the world of mankind and took her form from them.
Early in her life, Sadhee became the concubine to an Indian king. She used her adaptive abilities in concert with a talent for reading the subconscious to take on the form of the king's greatest desires. While she refused to become his queen, she took her place as the lead of his harem, and in time she bore him a son. Their son grew into a powerful hero, traveling the land and slaying monsters but never seeking his father's throne.
When the king passed, Sadhee remained as the head concubine when the new king took the throne. This man was twisted in ways that only Sadhee could satisfy or withstand. He sired his heir with his queen, but his child with Sadhee quickly grew into a monstrous beast that terrorized the countryside for years.
This became the pattern for generations. Sadhee would satisfy her king's every desire and bear him one child. The child she bore would reflect their father's inner self and become either a hero or a monster. This continued until a revolution unseated the last king of this lineage and Sadhee withdrew into her Astral Palace, a dimension set apart from the world, and closed it off from the world until a conqueror could find her and become her new king.
