One of the more voracious characters from a past dnd campaign. Let me introduce Kosjthi "Ixie" Ixenapetisse. Once a lowly kobald serving a cruel and creative red dragon, is the bardic sorceress you see today. Her old master used to use his minions as any dragon would, workers, builders, food, and test subjects. Ixie falls in to the later and learned how to survive and persuade her master from adding her to the larder an becoming one of his favorite experiments/toys. Used and abused, one of the experiments changed Ixenapetisse in a way that would change both her and her abuser forever.

Her master had been experimenting on letting some of his minions to use magic. After burning-out a couple of kobalds by trying to force his breath magic into them he changed tactics. Taking a filled soul stone of his hoard and merging it into a kobald. What he didn't realize was that the stone contained one of his old rivals Ulharusk. When the soul stone merged with Ixie she was temporarily possessed by the blue dragonborn soul and Ulharusk used most of her remaining mana to spite her old enemy. The spell that had been used to trap her in a soul stone so long ago caught the red dragon by surprise, leaving a soul powered ruby to fall to the ground. As the spell faded so to did Ulharusk's control of the kobald.

In Ixenapetisse's mindscape she saw a massive blue Dragon appeared. She called herself Ulharusk and said that she will empower Ixenapetisse so she can't be used anymore if she followed her instruction. She was to absorb enough souls to restore Ulharusk. Ixie agreed to and a flash of blue over took her enlarging and morphing her body. As she came to she herd the voice of the dragon from her mindscape explaining that the red crystal in front of her was her old master and was to be used as her magic focus. Finding it fitting to use the one who used her for so long.

Setting of with a decent haul from her former master's treasure hoard she set off to complete her new patron's request.

Ixie got the title Kosjthi from her preferred way to deal with enemies and and her prey to absorb. Reducing/shrinking their size so she can contain and absorb their souls. Whether it's swallowing them or preferably getting them through the back door she tends to seduce or manipulate them to willingly feed her. She doesn't really care who she absorbs and once she sees someone as prey tends to be apathetic towards them. She knows she is lawful evil but will not target those she considers hatchlings/kids. Learning sorcery from the soul she now serves she has learned bardic ways to make her task easier.
