As mentioned in part one, Cocoa is an 'overly enthusiastic' super-fan of magical girls. She adores them and she wants to be one herself. To some extent, she actually can almost be one. Cocoa is a Mimic-class Djesper Brooder, which means that she can mimic, imitate, and copy the powers of others.

Mimics can learn the powers of others in multiple ways. The more intelligent ones can figure out how to copy spells and other skills by observing them being used. Some can mimic a spell or ability after being hit by it (similar to Blue Mages from Final Fantasy), which can be the most dangerous option. Others can mimic the spells and abilities of those them consume, whether this is through unbirthing, devourment, or some other form of consumption. That last option happens to be how Cocoa mimics magical girl powers. She is not actually stealing anyones power, however, she is just borrowing the powers while the other girls are inside of her.

Repeated usage of someone else's spells will eventually allow her to learn to use spells without the need to have the magical girls inside of her. The amount of usage required for this depends on the complexity of the spell or special ability. It is also easier to learn if the spell or ability falls under a school of magic or another skill set that she is already proficient in.

And this is why she normally gets very carried away with herself whenever she encounters new magical girls (or anyone that she has mistaken for a magical girl). She adores them, she wants to be one, and she can almost do it thanks to her mimicry skills. She's just hoping to impress some magical girls enough that they will accept her as an honorary team member.

As for the magical girls themselves, their responses to her tend to be mixed. Some really appreciate having this extra large idol as a super-fan, and a few are even willing to participated as a guest in some of her gra-vore idol content. Calla actually likes this big, bouncy butterball quite a lot. Most are happy to have a high-profile fan, but they do try to avoid her after that initial overwhelming meeting. There are also a few magical girls that she has managed to piss off, but they are smart enough to leave her alone just to avoid getting into feuds with the others.
