Kaiju Log No: 10
Codename: Buer
Details: Though most of these kaiju randomly appeared from the sky or from rifts in space, this one seemed to pop up out of the ground in the Amazon according to our records. Studies indicate its biology resembles that of a plant as it seems to get sleepier when not in direct sunlight and hydrates by rooting itself in the ground or in nearby bodies of water with its centipede-like body and six legs. However, these traits make it no less carnivorous. We've discovered it devours its prey either using one of the main mouths on its head or abdomen, or it can even manifest openings on its vine-like appendages to ingest with. Either way, studies show that most of its body acts like one big stomach secreting an acidic bile to break down prey with. Additional abilities include extendable vine-like tendrils that jut from its major limbs, limited regeneration, and explosive seeds that grow off of its body, mostly from the two tendrils on its head. However, as previously stated, these abilities appear to be dampened when the creature is not within sunlight, making encounters by nightfall a preferable method of attack.
For those that didn't see my blog post, I'm participating in this year's Kaijune art challenge, with the bonus twist that I'll be drawing a kaiju girl every day this month complete with a bit or lore like what I added above. These will be separate from my usual Amazon University canon, but it'll be a fun new design strategy that I'm excited to try out. And I hope you all enjoy these big hungry girls too!

It's a fusion of Kong and Biollante.

Yeah, kind of like that. I took inspiration from a few types of carnivorous plants since she is basically a giant version of them.
