Not that I expect you to change whatever you have planned for the sake of authenticity...
But, I am curious if you're aware of what slugs and snails have going on in their mouths, especially the tongue?

So far as I understand it, real slugs and snails in this world have lots of tiny teeth that sort of mulch whatever they're eating. I have no clue whether they have tongues or not. In the game I've created, the hunting slug's eating mechanism functions in a different way. Instead of having a small mouth at the front, there's a "mouth" on its underside that engulfs the prey once the slug is completely on top of it. That's why the slug is mounting the woman here, instead of eating her as you might expect.

It's cool. Just wanted to know if you knew and you did, and you did say you're doing your own thing which is fine.
But, an agonizingly terrible way to be eaten would have been kinda hot, but I'll take what I can get considering the quality of work.
