While I slapped the colors onto this, the lines are by Tuna again! Who can be found at: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/thetunafish/

The Chua and the Aurin have a special hate-lationship. Given that it is largely the Chua who were responsible for the Ravaging of Arboria. Here it seems Penne was captured by a group of them, who had their fun with her before deciding to test a new oven prototype, designed specifically for the Chua's favorite enemies.

At some point I'll have to get a prequel to this one to upload here. Actually show off Penne's tormentors of the evening.

As far as "canon" for Penne goes, obviously she's never *died* and has escaped all the peril scenarios she's been in. Even being swallowed by Vitara's Rose, an Osun Darkwitch, and a "Wilderrun trap" plant.

She's a wily punk and mad scientist, plenty of smarts and spunk. And perhaps more importantly- she's got spellslinger teleportation/phase shifting magic. Though it's hard to say if a Void Slip would get her out of the bindings or not- it wouldn't get her out of the oven because it's an inorganic wall, which would still be there in the Void. Gate couldn't get you through walls in-game, but could get past minor obstacles and any number of living creatures so the shackles might not be enough to stop it. But if she can even get out of the bindings, it's a matter of whether that oven window or the heat coils can survive a point blank shot of Arcane Missiles, which spellslingers can do even without their mag pistols.

Whether or not she escaped this... Could go either way, I welcome people to dream of whatever alternate reality outcome they'd prefer for it.

What a pretty specimen! I love seeing anthros with humanoid feet/paws. Hope to see more of this delectable rodent!

Oh, they're not really anthros. Literal-autistic-hyperfocus rant below, no pressure to actually read through it. But in two months I'll have had Penne for 10 years, so clearly she's not going anywhere.

------------------

Aurin were one of the Exile races from the now-defunct MMO, Wildstar. Humanoid aliens with marsupial-like internal reproductive systems (See: Single vulva containing two vaginas and uteri designed for a sort of revolving door of tiered pregnancies.) who evolved from arborial predators to be sapient omnivores who bred their vegetables to have faces and beg for their lives. They can have pretty much any sorta animal ears, even bullshit whimsical ones, and all have long and furry tails.

Dimorphism-wise, their women are a couple of inches to a head taller than their men, have five fingers and four toes, have proportionately longer tails around their height + 1 head in length, and come in pretty much any color but only have solid or freckled skin patterns and solid hair colors.

The males have five fingers and five toes, shorter tails only about as long as their ankle-to-shoulder height, and have a broader range of skin patterns that can include semi-symmetrical dark blotches, dark bands on limbs, darkened hands and feet, and can also have patterns in their hair and fur.

would a Demi be a better term? I don’t have much experience with distinguishing the furry variants, so I’d love to be better informed! Regardless of what she is specifically, her paws are quite cute.

I guess demi-human is a term a lot of people would use for anything humanoid with just a couple inhuman features. But they're just humanoid aliens.

Gotcha! They look pretty cool too. I wonder what they taste like?

Well, given their diet and most-similar-classification... Out of animals I know some groups of humans eat, opossums are probably closest. Which is usually cooked with sweet potatoes and red peppers, and some people have described as pork-like. Others call it rabbit-like or like dark meat chicken with a catfishy aftertaste.

Makes sense aside from the rabbit description. Diet does a lot of the work behind what something tastes like. Grazing ostriches taste like a sort of red meat, for example, rather than poultry. And humans have been described by cannibals as pork-like.

The sweet potatoes and red pepper dish is described as being baked like an English roast in "How To Cook a Possum" in the Library of Congress. Which also mentions some cookbooks saying to cook possum like pork, but use recipes made for rabbit. And recommend catching it and feeding it "clean" food or milk and cereals for ten days before killing it for cooking.

A possum Creole dish is made simply by mixing 1 cup of mayonnaise, 8 cups of pig fat, 2 cups of buttermilk, and 2 diced green peppers, mixing the cut up possum meat into it, and then cooking it covered at 350 F for 2 hours before letting it sit for an additional hour and a half. And I see multiple chili recipes based around tomatoes and chilis, one also asking for you to throw in squirrel meat...

We'll see if I ever use these for inspirations. I've got several cooking vore ideas set aside already based on historical dishes. Egyptian roast duck with date sauce, Roman pork and apple, Wampanoag venison stew, Medieval European salmon with green sauce, Norse pork with berry sauce, Roman goat with date sauce, and Medieval European wild boar with cameline sauce.
