Details: The appearance of this kaiju shook up the very civilization around it. For one, this appears to be another reptilian breed, and the scales that cover its body make it resistant to nearly all forms of damage. Not only that, but this type is another one that consumes anything it can get its hands on and has a seemingly bottomless appetite. However, we believe this is the result of some form of metabolic routine, as the creature has also been seen shedding its scaly skin after growing to a certain size. This has ironically proven to be beneficial to us, as the scales retain their invulnerable properties when separated from the beast. As such, we have been attempting to maintain a healthy distance until the creature sheds again in order to harvest its scales, which have been used to aid in advances in anti-kaiju weaponry. We will attempt to evacuate nearby areas and hope it is satisfied with gorging on buildings as we study this further.
