Ixie had been clearing out a small bandit camp for a bounty for there capture/defeat. She was starting to get overwhelmed when a third party joined the fray helping finishing off the bandits.
The the new comer introduced himself as Kevin the fighter, and that he had seen the bounty posted in the next town over, which was from the opposite direction that she had come. After taking stock of area and realizing the this "Kevin" had executed the pair of bandits she had managed to incompacitate. She had planned to turn one in alive for the capture bonus while absorbing the other once she was done fighting.

Turning back to the human, she had already decided he would take the place of the bandit she had planned on enjoying. Letting a charm seep into her words, she complemented on how strong he must be and saying she is grateful to him for saving her. Seeing how flustered he was getting, she turned up her charm magic as she offered to "reward" him for her rescue.
