Here’s something a little different!
Just a little disclaimer before the analysis, this is not a definitive guide for all pred/prey dynamics. While each one is unique and common enough to be classified as its own dynamic, they are prone to overlap and feature many subdynamics. This is moreso a catalog of some of the more common types within vore, and maybe hopefully add some terminology within future vore discussions.
—
The Natural Dynamic
This is the most common dynamic seen in vore. The Pred and Prey likely have little to no prior relationship beforehand and if not, the pred has been hiding their true intentions from the prey for the majority of their time knowing each other. The Pred catches and consumes the Prey against the Prey’s will in order to secure a meal, imprison them within their bodies, or some other ulterior motive. In more cases than not, the Prey will never escape the Pred’s body alive. I refer to this as The Natural Dynamic as it emulates real world predator/prey relationships, although the prey is typically killed before or during consumption.
—
The Couple Dynamic
This is another very common dynamic in vore. In this dynamic, the Pred and Prey know of each other’s roles and demonstrate affection through the act of vore. The Pred typically consumes the Prey with the Prey’s consent, and sometimes the Prey climbs into the body of the Pred themselves. The act of vore for the Pred and Prey in this dynamic is highly intimate, as the two essentially become one. The act of vore can either be sacred or casual for either role, mostly determined by how common the act is for both and the emotional state of the Pred/Prey. This dynamic is also almost always non-fatal and ends with the Prey being let back out after a certain point. Sometimes though, the Prey will relinquish their body to the Pred so they can “become one” through digestion.
—
The Accidental Dynamic
This dynamic is less common but not totally rare. Both the Pred and Prey in this dynamic are unaware of either’s role as the act of vore occurs through mishap. Either the Prey missteps and ends up inside of the Pred or in a macro/micro environment where the prey finds itself tucked away amongst some food or drink the Pred consumes. If the Pred is aware they have eaten someone by accident, they will more often than not apologize and try to find a way to get the Prey out. If not, the prey is often either digested or is forever entrapped within the Pred.
—
The Contractional Dynamic
This is another less common dynamic that can be seen from time to time. In this dynamic, the Pred is typically ordered around by the Prey or by others to consume the Prey. The motives for this being varied, and the Pred often behaving disinterested or annoyed with the act of consuming the Prey. Whoever orders the Pred to eat the Prey is often the opposite, behaving much more ecstatic. This is somewhat opposite towards the Natural Dynamic, where the Prey sometimes is the one forcing the Pred to eat them.
—
The Honorific Dynamic
This dynamic is also fairly uncommon. The Honorific Dynamic entails two people competing in some sort of game, event, or fight where the loser becomes the Prey towards the winner. Typically, whoever becomes the Prey does so willingly, relinquishing their body to the winner due to an honor code. The Pred and Prey are also typically on relatively equal footing, and willingly engage in the terms of the competition as neither has a strong advantage/disadvantage. This dynamic is also almost always fatal, as both sides agree to the harsh punishments shall they lose. Think of this as the vore equivalent of some Mesoamerican Ballgames, where the losing team is sacrificed.

You forgot the humiliation dynamic
The bully dynamic
And the turned around dynamic

This is definitely something that needs more parts, I'd include those dynamics in future parts

We need more guides like this. Nice work!

I should've asked you if I could use Sascha and Anna for The Contractional Dynamic lol

I would have loved it

I think you could divide these further into sub-dynamics. For instance, the couple dynamic could be played as tragic- she could be forced to eat him because they are stranded together in a blizzard on a mountain and they will both starve to death otherwise, but eating him will give her the energy needed to make it back to civilization.

I would also like to add that this style of tragic, pseudo-romantic vore where the prey willingly sacrifices their life to nourish their partner is my favorite vore scenario and I don't see it done quite often enough.

Some examples I can think of;
Natural: Mochi or Mocha from WafflesBear
Couple: Byssa and Maya from ByssaNephilim
Accidental: Eve and Various from Crated Cheese
Contractional: Gabi and Emily from Kattu/Paogordo
Honorific: Lampton's and SirEdwardthe3rd's Universes
