You know, I never thought of patamon as a rabbit. Always a batwing-eared guinea pig. I think it's name is just based on small footstep noises, so it could be anything mammal.

My bad! When I made the comment I was referring to Gatomon and Lopmon. I completely missed out on Patamon whom I guess would be closer to what you said or possibly mouse girl.
