Fortunately, volunteers did come forward. 5 total were selected and only 1 passed the genetic test taken to see whether they'd have the acid and enzyme resistant genes that came with the mutated shrinking virus. They were fitted with a suit that would activate a lethal injection should the subject begin to digest. And now came the moment of truth, while the other researchers hesitated, Harper was rather quick to step forward. The subject's heart rate monitor in the observation room began to speed up as Harper bent down, licked her lips and opened wide for them.

They knew they couldn't back out now, and even if they could they'd be missing the cash bonus at the end (if they survive) and the chance at scoring a job as a tiny. Though they were intimidated by the gaping maw in front of them, they still stepped forward and crawled onto her tongue. And gently, the large wet muscle brought them into what could be their tomb. Harper's teeth close behind them.
