That’s cool story! Though I’m not sure I understood what exactly happened at the last part. Why he did comités them up? What happened there?

The „thing“ that has taken residence inside our protagonist Jonas seems to only accept people as food. However in most cases it will extract nutrients from its prey without killing it. This is an adaptation that helps it stay undetected for a longer time. That is, unless its host behaves recklessly or stupidly.
