Rook decided to take a nap on the couch (it is a pretty comfy couch), but the newcomer Elthorux was curious about this behavior. Being unfamiliar with the concept of napping, Elthorux took this lack of an activity as a sign of submission and/or offering, eagerly gulping the wolf down appreciatively.
