Kumiho is basically the kitsune but is Korean, not Japanese and in canon folklore, they eat humans for energy. Kumiho translated to English means "Nine-Tailed Fox". Kumiho, like Kitsune, are shapeshifting fox spirits who can shapeshift into anything but they prefer the appearance of a beautifully Korean woman. Kumiho hunt and seduce young boys for their livers and hearts to feast on them, with each liver consumed, they gain more power eventually turning into a pure human with powers and knowledge of their fox self.
