In an act of desperation in the pursuit of continued life, knowing that her sister would not willingly yield, Matragina sealed the goddess of destruction inside herself. Bellafinnes angrily writhed for freedom, but her sister's magic was unfortunately too much for her to resist. With this ultimate force of death subdued inside of her, Matragina would then begin to seed life on her latest and greatest creation, the world of Yotaia.
