Shannon turned her back to the tiny dragon, who saw that his chance had come. As she tended to her medicine, finding which ones to use for the “condition” he feinted, Axew snuck over to the window.

There, his master lay in wait.

Opening the window, Axew gestured him inside, as the Seviper, pleased with the ruse, entered in to make a meal of Shannon.
