fun lore fact: Marissa actually promises the people she "borrows" from that they can get their stuff back when she dies and since Youkai live for thousands of years they just kinda let it happen since humans rarely make it 100 years... What they don't know is she's "borrowing" the stuff so she can make an elixir of immortality
