Reef chiasmodon niger :
Chiasmodon niger lives 750m below sea surface, body length 20~30cm, is able to swallow the prey that many times bigger than itself. However, it is possible that the decomposition speed of the prey is greater than the digestion speed, resulting in too much gas left in the body floating to the depth of lower place, and the blood vessel burst and died. Some of them have evolved low depth adaptability to deal with this situation, and can move in shallow water. Because of the decrease of water pressure, they have gradually reached a body length of 100~150cm and can swallow larger prey. People often confuse them with reefs, so this kind of evolutionary branch is called Reef
