Blooming Lotus, Bathed in Fire By Voshine -- Report

Summary: As fate would ordain it, both Lumine and Nilou would meet in Natlan. One was halting the Abyss while the other was searching for a certain... peculiar dance.

A noble sacrifice that paid off. Natlan and sacrifices... I'm not versed in Genshin lore, but this story put a brighter spin to the practice, and not just because of the flames. It's also interesting to see a reformation that requires an effortful rite with an uncertain outcome.

Since you're asking for tag suggestions: I know that some people claim anything where a prey lived at the end is non-fatal, but others feel like the fatal tag's main purpose is to act as a trigger warning for death (death tag does redirect to fatal), and with the discussion of casualties, bringing back the dead and the destructive digestion, I think this fic would qualify. Either that, or just removing non-fatal due to the gray area.

Thank you =)

A classic dilemma on my end. There is no right answer sadly. I will have to include them both in this Schrodinger paradox =(

Heh, fair enough. We could probably argue this for hours about where the line is drawn but it's best to live and let live - or live and let digest.

I've tagged lots of my stuff as both "fatal" and "non-fatal" funnily enough, though it's usually due to multiple scenes in a single post. Which usually leave me with the dilemma "overtag or undertag?"

Ah, that's another problem of mine. I tend to undertag a lot hence I ask for help with the tags.

What I do is carry a file with the tags, roughly grouped (e.g. character names, vore types, species, jobs, clothing, pred and prey adjectives like cruel pred, greedy pred, etc.) and when I'm about to post something I make a copy of the file and go through it, keeping the tags I feel are relevant while pruning the rest. But that's probably way more effort than it's worth.

Vore type, character names, setting and species, willingness, slash initials, and any trigger warning and kink (incest, scat, etc.) is usually fine.
