Hi hello hi I am very normal about Viscous Deadlock here's a story about him absorbing Paradox Deadlock and getting squishier and bigger and curvier and
Also thumbnail is by boyfriend @OpalNiko on Bluesky or Twitter! There's not a full piece to go with it but I hope you enjoy the goo boy.

Things were not going very well on Park. Paradox had pushed Viscous all the way back under his tower and she had generated a fairly strong lead in Souls. This advantage compounded on itself, as Paradox used it to accrue new gear and abilities, which put her even further ahead of the poor Goo creature she was facing. Viscous, for his part, hid close to his shop and leaned out to take shots at minions or throw the occasional Goo Ball at Paradox. In all, he only had a few minutes tops before his Guardian went down.
“It’s not too late to give up!” Paradox shouted over the din of battle. “I don’t have any business with you - I’m just after the Patron!”
“I can’t give up here, my people are counting on me!” Viscous said, generating a Puddle Punch behind Paradox which was swiftly parried.
The Time Thief shrugged and reloaded her gun. “Fine, have it your way. I’ll just have to go through you then - because nothing is going to stop me from getting what I want.”
There was the sound of her Kinetic Carbine charging a shot, and Viscous dove for cover in the alleyway next to his shop. He got in just in time, as the bullet missed by inches and displaced much rubble in the hall Viscous was hiding in. The little rocks fell on him, and he felt as they were absorbed into his Goo. He got up, and dove back out, firing off another Goo Ball as he dove for the sign next to his Guardian for cover.
“It’s almost a shame I have to defeat you like this,” Paradox said, readying a mine. “You clearly have talents. In a different world, maybe you could’ve been absorbed into our organization? But it’s too late for any of that now.”
She tossed the explosive, and Viscous ran back to avoid it, but that word choice, combined with the rubble vanishing into him, stirred his mind some. “Absorbed…?”
He hid behind the wall well behind his Guardian, and thought as fast as he could. It’s true that his Goo body could absorb smaller objects into itself, but a large one? He’d never tried that before, and obviously no surface dweller had ever offered to let him try. Maybe he could try and absorb her? Viscous knew he was already losing the fight for his lane - perhaps a hail mary was the only thing that could save him now.
Peeking around the corner, Viscous waited until Paradox’s back was turned before using the nearby rope to climb up onto the roof overlooking their lane. Then, all he had to do was wait, and hope that this plan would work out…
“Hah! TThat Goo creature went and ran off!” Paradox said as she loaded her gun, preparing to fire away the last of the Guardian’s health. “Well, I did warn him. Nobody crosses Paradox and gets away with it-”
“GOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Viscous yelled as an attempted battle cry as he splattered down and landed right on top of Paradox. She let out a sharp cry of alarm, but it was muffled as Viscous shoved her into his chest. He commanded his body to admit her sizable bulk, and it gave way. Her calls for assistance were swathed up by Viscous’ Goo body as he pinned the rest of her beneath him, and wrapped his arms around her body as he pulled her form into his.
“This is ridiculous, unhand me!” Paradox tried to roar through the goop that was increasingly sucking her in, but nobody heard her plight except for Viscous, who felt her being pulled into the space where a human’s stomach would be as the rest of her legs were pulled up and into his body, leaving none of her outside of the Goo. She was trapped in there now, and one could see right through Viscous to see her struggling around inside.
“I’m really sorry surface dweller!” Viscous said, kicking aside the gun Paradox had dropped in the chaos. “But I can’t let anyone come between me and saving The Deep.”
Paradox was already pretty angry, being degraded by someone she saw as her lesser, but that rage intensified tenfold once she realized she was not merely going to be held in here. She saw a few small rocks and bits of twigs vanish into the Goo near her, and Paradox was smart enough to know that was going to be her fate soon if she didn’t escape. She kicked out with her legs and whipped around her with arms, but it was like trying to swim through thick honey. Every movement took so much longer than it should have, and was committed with only a tenth of the force they’d usually land with. The only small mercy was that air still managed to get through all that Goo, even if it did swallow up her words.
“Wow, you sound pretty angry in there,” Viscous said as Paradox unleashed a stream of profane curses onto him. “But don’t panic, I think it’ll be quite nice being Goo. I like being Goo!”
For some reason, this didn’t calm Paradox down at all, and when she realized that the goop was starting to absorb her, taking her body into Viscous’ own as the edges of her form turned translucent, she resorted to trying to detonate one of her mines in that protoplasm. Though, when she finally reached where it should’ve been on her person, she found that it had already been absorbed.
“I didn’t know surface dwellers could get this angry!” Viscous said as he rubbed his stomach, watching Paradox wriggle about slowly. “Goo doesn’t get upset, why don’t I just hurry things along and make you all Goo right now?”
Paradox didn’t take that sentence well either, but that was just par for the course by now. It only solidified in Viscous’ eyes that it was better to absorb her here and now, so she could finally relax as part of him. He placed his hands on his gut, and began sloshing his Goo around vigorously, watching as Paradox vanished as that midsection clouded over and his body really got to work absorbing her. Her cries suddenly turned panicked, and then were overtaken by the bubbling sounds of his body surrounding her as the space around her in the goop grew too cloudy to see through.
Viscous felt all the new Goo inside of him slosh around as Paradox was absorbed, her desperate shouts for assistance getting all reduced to that same bubbling noise as he watched the Time Thief start vanishing so much faster. He felt himself growing bigger, though he didn’t pay much attention to that now, as he was having too much fun sloshing himself around. Paradox felt herself growing weaker and vanishing by the moment, but there was nothing for her to do now. She was going to become one with the Goo.
Finally, when she was almost done, Viscous placed his hands on his stomach and squished in hard as he could. What was left of Paradox let out one final cry as her mostly-absorbed body was compressed, surrounded, and then finally utterly consumed. Nothing left of her now except a great amount of more Goo where she had once been, which swiftly flowed out and filled out Viscous’ body, giving him some new looks.
A group of Souls went up from Viscous’ gut. He got up to collect them, but fell straight forwards and crushed them with his new stomach on account of how unused he was to all this new weight. He laid there for a minute letting out a long sigh of relief. “That was fun! I need to absorb people more often - that was exciting!”
The Goo formerly known as Paradox in his stomach sloshed loudly. Viscous got himself up again, and approached the shop, examining himself in a mirror which was readily available for purchase.
“Oh!” Viscous said as he took a nice long look. “That’s all new!”
Really the most immediate thing Viscous noticed was how much curvier he’d become. Paradox was well-known among the Ritualists for her looks, and it seemed like she’d passed all of those on to Viscous. He turned into the mirror and admired his hips and thighs, which were nearly as wide as most of the doors he’d been racing through during this match. They’d grown very large and very feminine. Same thing with his chest. Where once there’d been flat Goo, there were now two fairly large tits which sloshed with goop when he turned this way and that.
“My, well this is strange,” Viscous said as he felt up his rear with both hands, noticing and admiring that it’d grown large enough that it’d be the first thing anyone coming at him from behind would see. “Though, I think surface dwellers like it when someone looks like this! I have to admit, I like looking pretty.”
He looked around, expecting Paradox to be back any second now. But after several minutes passed, she never returned. Viscous checked in with his teammates over the radio they used to communicate across lanes, and it seemed like none of them had seen her either. Viscous wobbled his belly again, making Paradox slosh around in there, and he giggled. “Looks like you’re really part of me now! Hooray!!”
The radio crackled again, and a voice came through from the other end. “She has to be around here somewhere. Don’t worry team, The Lash is on the case!”
“You should really stay here,” Abrams said. “She’ll turn up eventually.”
But it was already too late. Viscous saw Lash whipping through the sky and coming towards his lane at high speeds. Once Park was in sight, the brawler cracked on his radio again. “What’s wrong Gooey? Do they not have eyes where you come from? Paradox is right there. In fact, I think The Lash is gonna go say hello.”
Viscous was standing in the park, and evidently Lash had mistaken him for Paradox. As he landed with a flourish right in front of the Goo Boy, back turned as he took his shot. “Well, hello there little lady. Though, The Lash has gotta say, you look a lot more dazzling than you did before. Tell me, do you think love can blossom anywhere? Even on the battlefield? Cause who wouldn’t love the best? The Lash?”
“Hi Lash!” Viscous said, waving happily.
Lash whipped around, and for once, his eyes opened wide and he raised his hand to his mouth in shock as he looked at Viscous and his new body. He looked left and right, as if hoping the real Paradox would magically appear.
“Uhh, Lash? You good buddy?” Abrams said on the radio. “I’m looking at the map, you haven’t moved in a minute.”
“I think he’s broken,” Viscous said, waving a hand in front of Lash, who was still staring open-eyed in shock.
“Well restart him then! I can’t hold off Wraith and Kelvin all by myself!”
Just then Lash seemed to reboot. His eyes closed, he cleared his throat, and dusted off his shirt before readying his whip to run away. “Viscous, let us never speak of this again.”
“Okay!”
Lash leaped off like he was being shot from a gun, and Viscous watched him go as his minions marched forwards and took Paradox’s tower. “Hmmm, well that settles that!” he said. “I wonder what I should do now?”
On the other side of the map, Dynamo sent out an alert. “I need help on York! Yamato has me pinned!”
Nearby, the teleporter leading from Park to York opened up, and Viscous strolled gladly towards it. “I’m right on my way! Don’t worry Dynamo, I think I’ve really found out how to deal with these guys!”
“Really? That’s a relief! I can finally get my body back!”
“I’m gonna get a new body too,” Viscous said as he teleported, already excited to see how much curvier and prettier he was gonna get.
