Snow cap made her way down the mountain, it's been nearly an hour since she found the human underneath the snow. Looking back at her bloated belly she smiled, luckily the woman was no longer shivering, she has a chance of surviving now, all they have to do is make the four hour trip to safety now, but she needs to rest for a bit, it's been a long trip already.


 Snow cap is an Avalanche deployment Glaceon, she's a part of a special rescue team trained in cold weather operations, a very difficult thing to achieve, as only three types of pokemon are capable of surviving in such harsh weather. Ice, steel, and fire types are the only ones that can survive, but each one is tasked differently.


Steel types are great for deep rock rescue and pulling out debris. The only problem, then need heavy duty heating equipment attached to them as their skin can get too cold.


 Fire types are amazing for traversing the land quickly and keeping the person in need warm, but even they have a limit to how much cold they can take.


 Ice types are a fantastic all round pick, as they are immune to freezing temperatures, are capable of destroying small objects in the way, and their sense of smell is heightened in the cold. But they are usually smaller and need to swallow the person they are rescuing to keep warm, as the stomach is the only source of heat ice types can produce, as their skin is usually sub-zero temperatures, and all heating equipment short circuits when exposed to extended use.


 But the best combination is when all three can work together, steel working to remove people and debris safely, fire type to heat everyone up and get the injured to safety, and the ice type to find the people in need and lead the other pokemon to the danger.


That's what Snow Cap is a part of, she and her friends saving people, every single member of the team would sacrifice themselves to save a person in need, that's what she signed up to do, she made a promise to herself and she's going to keep it no matter what.
