Sometimes, when I'm sad, or lonely, or scared, I draw my characters in slimy and cramped living caves. Sometimes it's the stomach, sometimes the womb, sometimes it's not something specific. Such works give me a feeling of coziness and safety. In real life, as other people, I have to cope with many difficulties, and I want to at least in my works to realize this desire for safety, very childish, infantile. And this helps me to go through life strong and brave.

Thank you very much :)
I'm fine, it was in a positive way :) I just think, it's great that in drawings/other creative work we can find an additional source of strength and mental resources. And, perhaps, even share it with others!

I'm so glad to see this. I don't think I've heard of anyone else so aptly describing the desire to find a safe and comforting space. I think I can relate to this need strongly.
