In this case Aim wanted some peaceful time with Mia on the return home but apparently people cant understand the signals, to bad for them.
What we learn about this? Do not mess with the shadow (even if you are not trying to)

Spending time with someone not by being physically next to them but mentally inside them. Actually, this might count as physically in them too, since the body is a shadow.
