Kabbu gets his life ruined by The Beast. Needless to say this one is pretty damn mean, you might want to avoid if you're not a fan of that. Thumbnail made by @OpalNiko on Twitter/Bluesky.

The Beast, whose mouth was always open in a smirk of open contempt, grinned wider when he saw Kabbu enter his clearing. He’d been tracking the little beetle and his newfound friends ever since they made the mistake of entering his territory. Kabbu had been lucky to escape his claws once, and had lost two of his closest friends in the attempt. Now he had the audacity to come back expecting a different outcome? Already, the Beast could see the cracks in his proverbial armor. Kabbu was too upset, too angry, to be thinking rationally. If he was in his right mind, he never would’ve come back here without an army - and he especially wouldn’t have dragged his newfound delicious-looking friends right into the lion’s den.
“Ugh, stop running off without us!” Vi shouted ahead of her, Kabbu already rushing ahead right into the trap.
“Yes, we know that you’re hurting. But it’s made you foolish!” Leif followed in rare agreement with Vi.
Kabbu shrugged off both of their concerns, stopping in the center of the clearing and glaring around. “I’m not being a fool. The only foolish thing here is the idea we shouldn’t put this monster down while we have the chance!”
The Beast crept around the dense foliage until he was shadowed in the long grass to the side of Vi and Leif. He crouched there, eyes squinted, waiting. He’d listened to them bicker like this for the past hour, and had taken in many interesting things. For instance, the Beast had learned that there was an Association of adventurers just like Kabbu, and he’d learned where it was. It laid well beyond his usual hunting grounds, but on certain nights there’d been reason to go out that way. If things went right, Kabbu would soon come to regret blabbing about it so openly.
“You must keep the mission in mind above all else,” Leif said. “We are here to infiltrate the Wasp Kingdom, not fulfill a personal revenge quest. What if the monster were to jump out and attack us right here, right now? Do you honestly believe we’d win without Maki’s help?”
“Don’t sell us short, Leif. We’d win, and I’d bet our lives on it.”
Summoned by these words, the Beast crept out of the grass, maw smiling wide as Kabbu saw him and froze, eyes going huge like saucers and fearful too. He pointed and shouted for his team to get out of the way, but only Vi was agile enough to dodge the chomping of the huge fangs. But the Beast wasn’t out to kill them in his typical way, as Leif was about to learn as he wrangled against the tongue of the massive monster. No, Kabbu’s hubris deserved something special, and the Beast would be glad to show him what true horror and evil looked like.
The Beast made a point of opening his mouth for just a moment for Vi and Kabbu, to show them that Leif was still quite whole and “safe” inside of his maw, before throwing his head back and swallowing, observing the disgust and horror which crossed their features as they watched their friend descend down his throat and into his belly. He scratched a claw at his stomach, where Leif now wrangled and beat, his impacts bumping out the sides of the gut here and there. Then he looked at the two of them, as if daring either of them to do anything to save their friend.
“Leif! We need to get him out of there!” Kabbu said, rage filling his veins as he charged forwards with his horn lowered. Vi, who was closer to the Beast, wordlessly drew out her daggers and prepared for a mean fight.
But all of this seemed rather silly to the Beast. The fight had been lost from the moment they’d been ambushed - the rest was all formality. Kabbu’s charge stung, and Vi’s daggers did bite, but neither were enough, and his swiping tail counterattack rendered Vi vulnerable enough for him to fall over her. Shadows fell thick and heavy over Vi as the Beast reared itself over her small body, mouth widening, upper body poised to lunge at her and swallow her whole too.
Vi saw what was coming, and had only time to scream with terror before the jaws snapped shut around her, trapping her in the mouth. Her delectable honey taste coated the Beast’s mouth, and he took a minute to savor her, turning to Kabbu to look at how miserable he suddenly was. All the heroics had gone out of him like smoke, and now he looked remarkably like the frightened newcomer he’d so thoroughly trounced the first time.
“Team! Don’t give up!” Kabbu said, trying to reassure himself as he straightened his shoulders and stood up tall as he could. “I can’t give up, not while there is still a chance they can still be saved. You will not defeat me this day, demon. Prepare yourself!”
Well, the Beast thought, if he says so. He reared up on his legs, and when Kabbu made a valiant charge, all the monster had to do was drop his rather large Vi-and-Leif-filled stomach on the beetle. If he cared about his friends so badly, why not get him nice and close to their final fates?
Kabbu roared through the Beast’s body for his friends. “Vi, Leif! Stay safe in there, I’ll find a way to save you!”
It was already too loud with the sounds of digestion for Kabbu to hear much of their replies, but he heard the two of them say something about burning and how painful it was, which only enraged Kabbu’s anger. He tried to butt his horn up into the belly which trapped him, but his opponent hardly seemed to notice. If anything, it just made him drop himself down firmer onto the beetle, as if to make sure that there was absolutely no chance of his escape.
The Beast leaned down and forwards on his gut, resting there as he listened to the gurgling growing louder in his belly. He was willing to take his time with this - these were clearly bugs Kabbu adored dearly. It was important he spent some time with them, right? Which was why he rested there, rubbing and pushing his stomach down as the voices slowly increased from inside, the struggles growing more frantic and frightened, the few audible words going from fear to hysteria, all while the sounds of digestion grew louder, his stomach gradually softer. Hours passed as the torment increased by degrees, the noises down there growing more dire, the gurgling and sloshing getting to the point where they were loud even for the Beast. And all through it, Kabbu roared and raged and fought as best as he could - even though it wasn’t enough.
Finally, after many hours of slow digestion, of feeling Vi and Leif grow weaker inside his gut, their struggles fading now by the minute, their voices barely audible, their bodies on the verge of melting completely, the Beast decided to make his move. He put his claws on his belly, and kneaded there, listening to Kabbu rage. Then, he clenched his gut while pushing in on his stomach, filling the air with the sounds of Leif and Vi being instantly demolished by his gut. A horrible crushing gurgle and bworp that made it clear through sounds alone that they were gone, something afterwards confirmed by how soft and sloshy his stomach went. Kabbu went silent too, something which made the Beast giggle and wobble his gut on the poor beetle.
He got off Kabbu, and the beetle instantly got up and looked at him with an expression of utter anger and anguish. “Y-You! You didn’t just-”
The Beast cocked a grinning eye at Kabbu. Do what? Melt your friends, kill them in my gut, and make you feel all of it?
“No… team…” Kabbu said, voice breaking. “I failed…” He sank low, and his eyes were filled with despair, but there was anger burning there too. An anger which flared as he raised himself up and glared with utter hate at the Beast. “I refuse to give up. They wouldn’t have wanted that! I- I must kill you, and set things right! Then at least they can rest in-”
In an instant the monster had grown bored of this, and he crushed Kabbu with his gut again, keeping him pinned there while thinking of what to do next. Eating him now would be such a waste of good suffering. But where to go with him? Perhaps a visit to this beloved association of his would break that fighting spirit.
Kabbu, who was still reeling from the loss of Vi and Leif, didn’t react in time when the Beast raised his stomach and tied him to his stomach using some of the thick and tall grass that surrounded the clearing. Pulled into the stomach, he got a thick faceful of Vi and Leif. He wretched with rage and disgust, but his fear really started up when the Beast began to move, running along a path known only to it. He didn’t know that the Beast had been listening in on their conversation earlier, and was now on a track straight to a place that would hit Kabbu personally. It took the better part of an hour for them to reach there.
“W-Wait! What are we doing here?” Kabbu asked fearfully as he managed to pull his head away from the belly to which it was tied, seeing that they’d arrived at the outskirts of the Adventurer’s Association. Above him, he heard what was left of Vi and Leif still sloshing around, the sound boring its way into his skull as the feel of their sludge splashing against him through the fat mocked him and his failure. The Beast dropped his belly to the ground, suddenly surrounding Kabbu everywhere with the feeling of that chyme as if to punish him for asking. The grumbling of his gut was growing to the sound of a small concert in there now, the grrrrrblblllllllesssssss and glooorrrrrrrrrrrrps… antagonizing the poor Beetle, making him listen to the thick sounds of his best friends dissolving.
Though, as the Beast knew, the best part of things was yet to come. He dragged Kabbu along with him as he approached the Association, various bugs appearing as they ducked for cover in the various buildings. Some even lined up to oppose him, like this frilly-looking moth and a very angry-looking Mantis. Well, the Beast would deal with them as easily as he’d defeated Kabbu and his poor friends. It was time to give this poor beetle the punishment of a lifetime.
Initially, Kabbu was too overcome with horror as listening and feeling Vi and Leif slosh around to realize anything was wrong. The sounds of digestion were so overwhelming that the cries for help coming from outside, beyond the stomach under which he was pinned, didn’t penetrate. It wasn’t until a new figure dropped into the cauldron that Kabbu realized what was going on, as he heard the terrified and pleading voice of Eetl. “M-Monster! Somebody save us!”
This was followed shortly by Mothiva, who shouted something like “Zasp you IDIOT!” as she plopped down alongside Eetl, who herself was followed by Zasp declaring that she shouldn’t have run in on her own. The figures continued piling up from there. Gen and Eri appeared next, and then Kina, and after her Maki, who had attempted a daring rescue but failed on account of his leg. Levi and Celia fell inside too, and even though Kabbu thought that would be the end, more just kept coming: Amber, Diana, Stratos and Delilah…
Every adventurer Kabbu knew was soon stuck there inside of the Beast’s gut, all of them having tried to stop the Monster only to be eaten in turn. Above him now there was a roaring sea of voices, ranging from angry to desperate to pleading. But all of them were trapped, and the Beast had them right where he wanted them. Because now the fun part could begin.
“Teams!” Kabbu shouted, trying to pierce the din. “You must find a way to escape! This foul monster will eat you whole,” he continued, voice breaking. “He already got Vi and Leif, don’t let him take all of you too!”
He wasn’t heard above the cacophony. Not at first and especially not when the true horror began. The Beast laid down heavily on top of Kabbu, bug-filled belly pressing him down with the weight of dozens of friends and comrades. Then the Beast clenched his stomach while pressing down towards the ground as hard as he could, leaning forwards to surround the bugs in as much digestive juices as possible. Kabbu heard the delightful sounds of his friends breaking in that gut along with the suddenly much-intensified noises of the Beast’s stomach churning thickly and hard to make use of all the new food. Kabbu shouted for his friends again, but another clench drowned him out, and he heard how they were all melting and digesting, bodies already starting to break down and dissolve.
The Beast felt Kabbu’s pitiful struggles, the way his arms and legs worked against him as he tried to wriggle out. Grinning, the monster decided to punish him for this too. He grinded his stomach along the ground, working Kabbu into his gut, rubbing and kneading it against him, using his entire body to help break up his friends. Using his claws he squished his belly around Kabbu, shoving all his friends into a smaller space to press the beetle up against. The Beast kneaded and pushed, working Kabbu against it, feeling his small body up against his gut, helping to break down everyone with his face and form.
Kabbu got a facefull of the messy results. He got to feel firsthand as Eetl was dissolved, his body melting right in front of him, sloshing down to a thick sludge which was gurgled loudly. Mothiva and Zasp were united at last when their two bodies were crushed by the clenching stomach into the same chyme, and Kabbu felt as they gave a last desperate cry and were then melted, what was left of them splishing right up against his face. Maki and Kina met the same face, Kabbu’s very face being used to knead them until they dissolved, the sloshing of the gut not growing truly intolerable, louder than Kabbu could take. But it wasn’t over - and Kabbu felt in turn and with growing horror and disgust as each successive bug died in the Beast’s gut and got reduced to a thick and gurgling gutsludge. Gen and Eri vanished, as did Stratos and Delilah and Diana and…
The Beast grinded and kneaded and rubbed until nothing was left. Nothing except for thickly sloshing sludge in his stomach. Sludge which now surrounded Kabbu everywhere, splashing against him, churning heavily, easy splish of it against him a reminder of what he’d just lost, that everyone he’d met from the Association was now a thick chyme. The sound was the worst part of it all, a guttural and terrible GLLLLLLLLLOOOOORRRRRRPPPP that seemed to reverberate through his entire being. He couldn’t even shout about it now - that sound of his friends digesting, of them vanishing forever, now was the only thing he could hear. Each move of the Beast’s belly against him just rubbed it in further, and made the sound more prevalent, more terrible.
Continually the monster rubbed and rode his belly over the ground and over Kabbu, doing so until the ground was worn and dusty from the weight and movement, and through it all, that horrid gurgling bubbled relentlessly with Kabbu at its epicenter. The noise swirled around him, a thunderous and brutal glorping and churning that was thick with the suffering of those he’d held dear. It roared and bellowed, and there was nowhere to turn to abate or defeat it. By this time the grass the monster had used to restrain Kabbu had long since broken, but the sheer weight of sludge in his gut kept him pinned there for good.
But even with all of this torment, there was still more to be done. The Beast rolled over, pulling Kabbu alongside him. He wanted to really surround Kabbu with the weight of his failure. Using his claws, he placed the poor beetle at the center of his belly, before pushing him all the way in and surrounding him utterly with gutsludge and fat. Not merely covering the front of him, as he’d been doing when kneading him on the ground, but actually engulfing the poor creature in it. Kabbu was only able to let loose one terrible and free cry before being fully submerged within the bellyfat.
All Kabbu could feel was the gutsludge of everyone he’d cared about in Bugaria sloshing against him. Everywhere it surrounded and splashed against him: the thick remains of everyone he’d known. Worse than that even was the noise. Outside it’d been deafening. Inside here, it was a relentless, ground-shaking GRRRMMBLLLBLLBLLGRRRROOOOOORORRPRPPPPPPP that filled every cell of Kabbu’s being. There was nothing he could do to escape it, or to lessen its effect. Even covering his ears did absolutely nothing to stop the relentless sound, the overwhelming noise. Each dissolving of his friends, and melting of his found family - he heard every last second of it. He felt each and every grumble and every churn.
Entrapped there, Kabbu was engulfed with terror. The Beast was literally rubbing its victory in his face, was rubbing it in that Kabbu didn’t have anybody left now. Each renewed noise from that stomach was a signifier of another friend gone, their body a vague and fattening soup now, with no hope of retrieval or healing or anything. As the sounds intensified, the thick pumping of the Beast’s full guts as they processed so much food growing in volume, Kabbu found himself being pulled deeper into the stomach. He could no longer see anything except the body around him, not even a speck of sky or ground besides. Trapped utterly.
Then the weight began to increase all around him. Fat began to shove its way against his face, swelling and growing around him like stuffing. Kabbu’s already terrified-wide eyes widened further, as he felt what was becoming of everyone. Vi, Leif, Maki, Kina, Mothiva, Zasp, all of them. All reduced into this soft chub, what used to be their bodies now surrounding and nearly suffocating him.
The Beast played with his new weight, smooshing his belly and watching it shake, jiggling it and watching it wobble. Gradually, where Kabbu was swelled over entirely with fat, and the poor beetle found himself now deep inside one of the Beast’s rolls. The weight was too intense for him to get out of, and as the Beast felt him wriggle around in there, he looked at his total victory with great satisfaction. Except, even with all this, there was still more to be done. Since Kabbu had done such a great job leading him here, why not continue through the gate ahead and do the same thing to the entire Ant Kingdom?
He felt the defeated way Kabbu wriggled, and he’d seen the defeated look in his eyes before crushing him with his stomach. Why not take things a bit further? Break him down until he gave in entirely, until he didn’t even struggle when the fat gut was dropped on him. The Monster laughed, and his grin deepened. This was going to be very fun.

Ill like if Queen Bianca is pred but not like... cruel pred more like gentle pred... i think Vi and Jaune would be a very good prey for Queen Bianca.
What do you say?
